This is a lovely place, a bit noisy inside as the tables are closly situated. We asked them to move us outdoor and it was much better. Their seafood cheese cake is must try, so are the salads, pizza and risottos. The key lime and bread pudding for dessert are a must. Great service by Julie and Sam. They also have a good wine selection.
This place was great!! My best friend and I celebrated her birthday here and it was both our first time having dinner and it was delicious! The service was top tier: we never ran out of water, all the staff was friendly and professional, our waiter made delicious recommendations! I would definitely recommend to everyone! We will definitely be back!
We loved everything about this restaurant. We went there for father's day and it was perfect. Stylish, modern, great vibe and service. Food was amazing. We tried the snapper and veal and both delicious. They also have very nice, cozy patio but was bit hot to sit outdoors.

I chose this restaurant because I was looking forward to a nice dinner on the patio. The patio itself is beautiful, but when we arrived it was almost completely empty and we were seated along the bushes, even though there were plenty of other tables available. I do want to mention that the food was very good, and our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Unfortunately, once our food was served, we were swarmed by dozens of flies. The staff brought over small table fans in an attempt to help, which I appreciated, but they just weren’t enough to keep the flies away. It became so difficult to enjoy our meal that I ended up having my entrée packed to go because I couldn’t comfortably eat it. We had originally planned on ordering dessert, but by that point we just wanted to leave because of the flies. I would absolutely come back because the food and service were great, but the fly situation on the patio really needs to be addressed. It’s hard to enjoy an otherwise wonderful meal when you’re constantly trying to keep flies off your food.
When I’m craving Italian, La Griglia is always the first place that comes to mind. It’s elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner, business meeting, or bringing friends who are visiting Houston, and it truly never disappoints. My go-to dish, and the one I always recommend, is the short rib cappelletti. It’s incredible. For appetizers, the shrimp & crab “cheesecake” is a must. They also have a great cocktail menu, an excellent wine list, and you absolutely cannot skip the brown butter bread pudding for dessert. The service is always on point, friendly, and knowledgeable, and valet parking makes everything easy. La Griglia is definitely more of an adult, upscale dining experience, and it’s one of those places that makes every visit feel special.
