Starting with the initial phone call, my very first encounter was professional and courteous. The technician, Will Falwell, arrived timely and serviced the main sewer drain. He was extremely patient and determined to clear the drain of what ended up being tree roots and vines. He worked for hours in the bitter cold (20 degrees). This man deserves to be Employee of the Year and a partner in the business. He explained everything and kept us well-informed throughout the process. He was respectful of the property, and the service was top-notch. He stayed the course to ensure we’d be able to use our facilities that night. I am so thankful for that. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter, and hopefully you will get Will as your service technician.
The Roto-Rooter online experience is pretty awesome. They schedule a technician to be at your house at the time you asked for. It surprisingly enough to me they were there at the scheduled time. They didn’t wait around in their trucks for 20 minutes to finally walk across the street and knock on the door. They arrived. They came to the house and they had their equipment in the basement within 10 minutes. The two men were clean and professional Did not leave a mess, they cleaned up after themselves. Very unlike other plumbers we’ve had over the years when we had to call outside our normal plumber. A guy came in after they were all done and ran a camera down the line to show us some damage in our lines and where some roots were growing, which is why we called them to get the roots out of our line, and gave us a price to have that fixed. Of course Roto Rooter being a name brand is very expensive. We can not afford a price that would be a third of value of our whole house to reline the existing pipes. 17,000 was the quote for that. However, they did clear the drain and the toilets flush once again. I mean without filling up our basement I know that’s gross. This clean out by it's self was a $500 service which is about triple what my regular local guy charges who has been or guy for 30 years and twice as much as any independent people. I paid because Roto Rooter is trusted name and none of the others could get there soon enough. Although the price was high, the service was great. It was certainly worth it to me to be able to use my plumbing again in a timely manor. Well, I’d always recommend my regular guy big Josh, plumbing. Because he’s all the things that these guys were a little over half the price if you can’t get josh. Try Roto Rooter I’ll give him five stars because my technicians were excellent. Here some pictures and one of an eagles cause I got out in time to go take the pictures

Prompt service. Although the technician was unable to clear this outside underground drain, he made a good attempt and gathered enough diagnostic info to determine that the corrugated tubing had probably collapsed. I was totally satisfied with the effort. He was totally up front with the chances of success (didn't make any wild promises) and the initial costs ($499 for service call and first hour).
Tim B. (Tech 617) came out and repaired issues I had in 2 bathrooms. He was patient, thorough and explained everything and the repairs didn't take long at all. Greatly appreciated, fixed issues ive been dealing with for years. Will definitely use again for future repairs.
I scheduled a service appointment with Roto-Rooter for an 8:00–10:00 AM window and not a single person showed up. This is easily one of the most frustrating and disrespectful service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I sat around waiting the entire morning while they kept changing the technician’s ETA over and over. Every time I called, I got bounced around on the phone with no real answers. It felt like they were just wasting my time. The technician wouldn’t even pick up the phone when I tried to call. If you give someone a time window, show up or at least communicate honestly. Don’t leave customers waiting around for hours with no explanation. This kind of service is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Since nobody from this company could handle a simple appointment properly, I will also be issuing a formal complaint to corporate and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. People deserve to know what kind of service they might be dealing with before wasting their time.
