This is my first time staying at Drury and after this experience I just may stick with Drury hotels. Check in was easy and smooth. My room was clean nice and large although coffee maker in room was a bit dirty. I got the suite and was quite satisfied with the space given. What really caught me by surprise was the Kickback hours. I really enjoyed that along with breakfast. My next stay I will definitely check out the pool. Staff were nice and went beyond to find me an extra blanket when they ran out due to being sold out for the holiday. Overall my stay here was very pleasant and peaceful.
This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay. Close to hospital and have an amazing breakfast buffet plus a happy hour for 6-8. We decided we wanted to take the kids back and just swim and have a nice weekend with them. Just at the hotel.

I’ve always been grateful for Drury’s clean rooms. I wake up early so the 2 room suite is always nice to sit and have coffee. For the price you can’t beat the free breakfast and happy hour. It’s our first choice when we travel. The one in Carmel is excellent!
I stayed at the Drury Inn on Shadeland Ave in Indianapolis on a week night. The room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. I do wish the Kleenex was a higher quality brand. The complimentary Kickback buffet from 5:30-7:00 pm had a good variety of choices of hot foods and snacks. The Kickback menu alternates every couple of days throughout the week. The complimentary breakfast buffet also had an excellent choice of hot foods and fresh fruits: scrambled w, western style scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal & toppings, 3 waffle makers, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, 4 cereal choices, breads, bagels, bananas, apples, oranges, 3 juices, and coffee.
we are drury members and stay at the drury inn at 96th/meridian every other weekend, due to family dynamic. this weekend that location was booked up, assuming for valentine’s day, so we had to go with this location. upon check in, staff was friendly, we got to our room and were shocked with the state it was in. it seemed it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned at all, but due to the type of room we needed, we weren’t able to change rooms. the couch was ripped up, there were stains on all the surfaces, it smelled so strongly of cologne it gave me a terrible headache. there was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash, so a maintenance person had to come in to the room and refill it. we attempted to swim and were surprised to see the swimming pool and hot tub was smaller than the other location. someone dropped off their young children and left the pool area, the children were shrieking so loudly it was miserable, so we had to leave. we didn’t attempt to eat at the kick back because it was a madhouse down there. the wait time for an elevator was insane as well. just a very disappointing experience, considering we paid $100 more than we normally do at the 96th st location, and the experience was terrible. the only positive thing i can say about this location is the staff is very friendly and helpful.
