This hotel is in terrible condition. The main elevator is out of service, so you either have to walk all the way across the building to use the other elevator or climb four flights of stairs. The side entrance key reader doesn’t work, so after parking you have to walk all the way around to the front entrance just to get back inside. The room has stained furniture and is uncomfortable overall. This is simply not the level of maintenance or quality I expect from a Marriott property. The one bright spot is the staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and helpful, and they’re doing the best they can. Unfortunately, great employees can’t make up for a property that is in such poor condition.
I honestly hate to write this review. I have called the hotel 18 times to try to get a receipt that’s tax exempt. I am a military member and can’t even manage to get the manger to call me back. The front desk needs retraining as I have been hung up on 4 times. I’m out of effort. I would rate you 0 stars if I could simply for the manger. Before I left I was told my receipt was taken care of. It isn’t and I can’t seem to get anyone to give me the time of day. Don’t stay here if you can help it. There was a truck stolen out behind the hotel so make sure you lock your truck. Rooms were fine. Cockroaches were dead in the hallway. I have left my number on your machine multiple times if you would like to call me back about this review.

I highly recommend the hotel for anyone traveling to Dallas for work. The property is very clean, silent, and well-kept. I arrived late and exhausted, and I truly appreciated how polite and professional the front desk staff was, as they handled my check-in real quick so I could get some rest. The location is very well situated for business travelers; I was just 5 minutes away from my destination. While breakfast isn't free, it is definitely worth it. They serve excellent omelettes and the coffee is high quality. This has officially become my go-to hotel for every future work trip to the city. Highly recommended for a stress-free and productive stay!
My friends and I were looking for a hotel nearby, so we called to ask how old you have to be to check into a room. The employee who answered the phone was very rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I was asking a stupid question. When I asked what the minimum check-in age was, she told me she didn’t know. I then asked how much a room would cost for one night, and instead of helping me, she simply told me to look it up online myself. Since we didn’t get any helpful information over the phone, we decided to go to the hotel in person, hoping someone else would be able to assist us. Unfortunately, it was the same employee working the front desk. From the moment we walked in, she had an unprofessional attitude. When I asked questions about the rooms, she rolled her eyes, acted annoyed that I was asking, and again told me to look everything up online instead of providing basic customer service. Every question I asked was met with a rude response, making us feel like we were bothering her. After standing at the front desk for around 20 minutes waiting for assistance, I finally asked if we could book a room. At that point, she casually told us there were no rooms available. It was very frustrating that she didn’t mention this from the beginning and instead wasted our time while treating us disrespectfully. Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve had. I understand that employees can have busy or stressful days, but customers deserve to be treated with respect and provided with basic assistance.
I got a good rate here, didn’t have to pay for parking, and the service was great. Shout out to Quita for helping me with a late checkout this morning after I got caught in traffic. The hotel is a little dated and I wish it had been within walking distance of more things, but if you’re looking for an affordable place with easy access to downtown or the design district, it’s not a bad option.
