Staying at the E-Central Downtown Los Angeles Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to be right in the center of the action, sitting directly across the street from Crypto.com Arena and L.A. Live. It makes walking to concerts, sporting events, and local dining completely effortless. The rooms are sleek, modern, and exceptionally clean, offering a quiet sanctuary right in the middle of a bustling urban center. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room tech was intuitive, and the large windows provided great views of the vibrant city streets below. Having top-tier amenities paired with a contemporary boutique aesthetic gives the property a very premium feel. The service was excellent across the board. The front desk staff made check-in quick and welcoming, and the valet team was fast and organized. It is an ideal hub for anyone visiting for a weekend show or a city getaway.
Our room wasn't ready when I arrived (an hour after check-in time). The front desk just shrugged at me, as to say "it is what it is". No apology, nothing. There were other people who had been waiting for their room for longer than I was. The room was finally ready at 7pm. Other than that, I feel like hotel was not worth the price. The location was nice being so close to the Convention Center. It wasn't a horrible stay... it just felt budget. I had the King Executive Suite and I've had better rooms at Embassy Suites.

This room served its purpose as it was right across the street from my destination. There’s parking for a fee, and bellhop to retrieve your items. I flew in early for my one day stay for a concert and waited around for about 3 1/2 hours until I was able to check in at 12pm without having to pay the $75 early check in. I thought it was a little pricey, $40/$50 I would’ve paid but it just didn’t make sense to. Couches where I sat while I waited on my room were stained along with the carpet, staff gave conflicting information based on who asked( causing me to reconfirm). Rooms were standard and decent I was in the 7th floor with a great view. Bed was lumpy and also had stains air condition worked well.. Id give this stay a 6/10
The room itself is nice and clean, however I am writing this review at 1 AM because I cannot sleep due to the blaring songs coming from the bar across the street. While I understand that is not technically the hotel’s fault, it is unacceptable to pay full price for a nice hotel and not be able to sleep peacefully in your own room. The room is literally shaking from the music, and screams constantly echo through the walls. That is not okay, and was never mentioned by staff, etc., despite this likely happening every night. I guess my first red flag was that I arrived at 3 PM when check-in was supposed to begin, only to be told that my room was not ready. In fact, almost nobody’s rooms were ready at that time. I personally only had to wait around 40 minutes, but they never called me like they said they would. I had to go back up and ask myself, and that’s when I found out my room had actually already been ready. Meanwhile, even two hours after check-in officially started, many people who arrived shortly after I did were still waiting for their rooms.
Reception GINA 5 stars Breakfast and the staff 1 star The reception has help to have a good stay in this hotel! Apparently seems a place which has going to close the business; the breakfast has been a nightmare, it’ll there was nothing , only one choice course, coffee and that’s it! No buffet, no sweets, nothing at all. Gina has been incredibile with us, very helpful and professional 👏👏👏👏
