The Getty Museums are amazing! Been to both of them and they are beautiful, organized and have amazing works! The day I visited was a Friday and it was a bit noisy as there were many kids from several schools there. If you are looking for a more sedate time, maybe go during the weekend or when school is out. Enjoyed our time and will go back to see what we missed on another visit. You can't beat the free admission and the garage parking was $25. It was great to see children being exposed to the arts and their guides and teachers piquing their interest. A+ run organization and museum. Enjoy!
Stunning museum overseeing all top spots of LA with different catrgories and nice restaurants or Cafés. A great place to let the soul relax from the big city stress combined with culture and art of all epoches. Amazing thing: free entry, parking $25 for the day amd mono rail from parking lot the buildings. Love it...

We finally went to the Getty Museum again… it’s been on my wish list for a few years. You can walk there endlessly (or at least until you’re completely tired). Old paintings, sculptures, photography, beautiful gardens, flowers it’s all there. Fun fact: the Getty is actually free to visit (you just pay for parking), and the views over Los Angeles are almost as impressive as the art. Also, the museum sits on a hill and you get there by a little tram it already feels like part of the experience before you even see the art.
Amazing museum with beautiful art and gorgeous gardens. Highly recommend for a visit. Famous artists/art, antique furniture, diverse colorful gardens. Great for a date or tourist visit. Ideal place to have a picnic on the grassy hills and overlook the garden and city. They have a cafe and restaurant/bar onsite as well if you’re choosing to have a meal or drinks. The tram that takes you up from the parking area is pretty cool. Free entry only pay for parking.
A stunningly beautiful modern museum with great views of Los Angeles. It's designed by architect Richard Meier and built with Italian travertine stone. The galleries need time to peruse. They house European art - paintings and sculptures. It's free to enter, but you need to reserve parking online. Nearly all of the outside areas are accessible. Students from nearby UCLA are known to come study here for a change of scene.
