I had a wonderful stay at this Hyatt property. The lake views were beautiful, and being close to the Boeing factory provided the opportunity to view the planes, making it a unique experience. My room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and housekeeping kept it refreshed and well-stocked throughout my stay. Breakfast at Water’s Table offered a great variety of delicious options, and my servers, Henry, Devina, Leighton, and Banson, were attentive and friendly. Gage at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions clearly when I called ahead and handled my checkout with professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. This was an excellent stay, and I look forward to returning to this property in the future.
Nicest staff ever! They addressed needs I didn’t even know I had. The hotel itself is big and quiet and lovely with a gorgeous view of the lake, lots of places to sit to chat, work, or just enjoy the view. There’re also these cool pods you can rent out to take zoom meetings and calls.

We wanted to like this hotel but were extremely disappointed. We visited this last weekend, and chose the lake view. On entering we were not welcomed, and were not greeted warmly at check-in. In our room, the view was nice but underwhelming, better than looking into another guests room, but not worth the additional fee, on top of the destination fee. For a work trip, the destination fee was just more money. We did not use additional amenities, so essentially paid $40 for day of WiFi and local calls. In the room, the linens were 2 sets of thin sheets with a thin comforter between them, we considered it a very cheap setup, though there were down pillows… Any typical additional amenities could be ordered via room service, such as a robe and slippers. At night we could hear the guest next door entering and exiting due to the large gap under the door. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, the check in staff were great, very welcoming, though the service was slow. We sat for 15min before being greeted by our server and drinks came another 15 minutes later, it wasn’t busy. Food was quick. When we left, both sets of hosts did not acknowledge us and we grabbed our complimentary cup of coffee in the market. I wouldn’t stay here again. There are much better hotels downtown Seattle just a 15 minute drive on the freeway. We tried this spot because it was closer to the airport.
Review of Hyatt Regency Lake Washington This morning, I arrived at the hotel to pick up my 80-year-old grandmother, who had been staying there. She walks with a cane and requires assistance, so the night before, I briefly pulled up to the front entrance with my engine running, hazards on, and without blocking traffic in order to safely escort her to the car. The parking attendant that evening was gracious, helpful, and understanding, and assured me it was not an issue. I followed the same process the next morning, but had a very different experience with a different parking attendant (a taller, heavier-set white male). I was told I could not momentarily stop to assist my grandmother, despite explaining her mobility needs and that I had been permitted to do so the previous night. During this exchange, the attendant stated, “They were probably scared to say something to you.” As a Black man, this comment was deeply unsettling and taken aback by its implication. My interaction the night before had been respectful, positive, and professional, and there was no indication that anyone was “scared.” The statement carried an underlying tone of assumption and microaggression that was both unnecessary and hurtful. Despite this, I proceeded to escort my grandmother safely, and before leaving, I spoke with Juan at the front desk to share what had occurred and explain why the comment was concerning. Having a background in customer service—including time as a manager at Trader Joe’s, a company known for its exceptional and thoughtful guest experience—I understand the importance of empathy, mindfulness, and creating a welcoming environment, especially during moments of stress. This experience also came on the heels of an emotional family event involving a recent loss, making the interaction even more impactful. While the overall stay and most staff interactions were pleasant, this final encounter unfortunately placed a damper on what was meant to be a supportive family visit. Every interaction matters. People may forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
We stayed here for a December bday staycation and it was lovely! Typically come here for brunch so did a birthday brunch and then stayed overnight. The decor for the holidays added such a cozy touch and our room and service were 10/10. I love the little area surrounding the property, great for a stroll in nature and grabbing some coffee. Definitely worth getting a room with a view of the lake it was so relaxing to watch the sunset from the comfort and warmth of our room.
