The Cummings Center for the History of Psychology was far more interactive and enjoyable than I expected. From the moment we started exploring, I was impressed by how engaging and well-designed the exhibits were. The museum spans the first and fourth floors, and I genuinely loved every exhibit we saw. The fourth floor stood out in particular—it featured an entire collection of postcards, and visitors even have the opportunity to mail postcards on the spot, which was such a fun and unexpected touch. This is easily one of the most well-designed interactive museums for adults that I’ve visited. The experience is thoughtful without being overwhelming, and I really appreciated the simplicity of the design. Everything felt intentional, accessible, and easy to engage with. Purposely posted limited photos to respect the different exhibits.
This was one of if not my favorite places in Akron. The exhibits are informative and frightening at the same time. The admission price is reasonable and free parking on the side of the building. They also include an art gallery on the 4th floor with your ticket. I found the videos to be quite good and they offer various games that were used in past generations to test people’s mental acuity.

Although it's near the University of Akron, you don't have to be a student of psychology to visit this museum. It is a very interesting place for even the slightest curiosities of how the mind works and how much influence affects us. It's not a huge place, but not small at all. They have a number of interactive activities which were fun and enlightening. Personally I don't think its for young people under 16.
Very interesting and interactive! The museum entrance fee was very reasonable ($10). The exhibits have thorough information and the psychology experiments are quite interesting to learn about. The museum offers numerous interactive mental or physical acuity tests. I definitely recommend a visit!
If you are into psychology old to new, then you will love this place! It's interactive as well. It was such a wonderful place and only open since 2018! Pavlov, Skinner, Stanford prison experiment, and so much more.
