Great place to spend time in downtown Cleveland. Was there for a Guardians game. We had their sliders and fried cauliflowers. All good. Of course, it is a brewpub so make sure to try their house made beers and their other fare. Outside seating available for those that need to be seen! And inside has large seating capacity. Quick and polite service. Decent prices. Highly recommended.
Service from wait staff was great. True rating would be 3.5/5. Food was delicious and flavorful but the portion size for the price was not it. I got the corn dogs which were more or less about 1 to 1.25 traditional corn dogs and the ribeye which was probably ~7oz. For a tab+tip of 75 bucks for a smaller meal and a couple beers, nothing is really bringing me back

We had an outstanding dining experience at Butcher and the Brewer. The food was absolutely delicious, with high-quality ingredients and excellent presentation. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. The atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. If you're looking for fantastic food, great drinks, and excellent service, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!
We are sort of homebodies but we are in town for a convention so have been forced to eat out many meals while here. This was by far the most fun and the best value. It's pub food but good pub food: Charred Shishido peppers, Perfectly prepared salmon on a bed of some kind of very interesting vegetable matter, chicken wings (Dry rub with very tasty spices) And what we think might be the best beet salad we've ever had. I forgot to take any pictures until we had already eaten almost everything but here is half of the salmon small plate Having just come from a happy hour I didn't have any alcohol but my husband has a very interesting "Mexican chocolate pepper stout". I might have had a sip!
So ate here a decade ago. And for us not to go back somewhere, it must’ve been entirely not memorable then. So we tried it today before a comedy show and the first thing I wanna say is great weight staff very attentive. We had Shishido peppers appetizer, which was good, we had bone marrow, which our second attempted bone marrow first one was amazing at another restaurant and this one just felt like fatty tissue. Then not a lot of flavor. Portions were inconsistent. Also one bone was really deep. One bone was negligible. They brought out a new bone for us and we didn’t even complain. We just pointed it out. That’s great service. My wife had meatballs which she liked didn’t get a picture unfortunately I had some sticky Korean chicken, which was flavorful but nothing that’s gonna end up being memorable I didn’t care for the coleslaw. My wife liked it and then the pickles tasted like bread and butter, pickles and those were good. Overall, it was just OK and I really wanted it to be wow. If you look at my other reviews, I am usually not. Caustic or anything so giving a three star should probably be 3 1/2 stars but they don’t let you do that. One of the things that I remember from the first time we went was that they had all sorts of charcuterie boards, but speaking to the server, they said that Covid killed lunches for business, and they had to get rid of their deli kind of hard to be called butcher in the brew if all you are as a brew now. We probably won’t go back.
