I’ve brought my cars here a few times and have always had a good experience. They’re friendly over the phone, quick to begin services, communicative, and very thorough with their inspections, diagnoses, and listing their recommendations with qualifiers of this should be done now, in the near future, or not something to worry about at this time. I highly recommend Kearney Garage!
I came to Kearney Garage while on a cross country road trip after my car got hit on the street parked overnight. They not only inspected my vehicle to make sure it was safe to drive across the country the next day, but also patched up my rear windshield that had been smashed to make sure that I would be safe for my drive. They insisted on not taking any money to help me and just did it out of the kindness of their hearts. I cannot express enough how wonderful the people are at this shop! If you’re at all on the fence about giving them your business I encourage you to consider the kindness they demonstrated when helping a stranger in need and know that they are truly good people and treat your vehicle as if it were their own.

I brought in my recently purchased new car with squeaky brakes and Jenna and Alex were sooo kind. They reassured me everything was in tip top shape and safe to drive, made sure I was comfortable in the waiting area, and were open and honest about everything. I will definitely be coming back when I do need maintenance. 🥰
On Nov 19th I had set an appointment online to drop off my vehicle for Nov 22nd, I was surprised that they actually got it in that soon because I was used to other shops I had gone to before being booked like, 2 weeks out. I was a little nervous because although they have a good rating, there are some mixed reviews, but they are close to my apartment and they had availability so I thought I'd give it a shot. My Jeep was making some awful noises for a while and other shops had seemed to think nothing was of concern, but the sound was getting worse and more consistent. Within a couple hours of dropping it off, I had emails from them with the results of their inspection and estimates. I was able to approve or deny the work through the links provided. It did throw me off that that's how they communicated all that, as I'm used to shops calling me, but I think it's nice to see a breakdown of everything. They had the work done by the following Monday and upon driving my Jeep home, everything seemed fine! They were also very nice and prompt with everything, I will most likely use their services again for any future repairs.
My experience at Kearney was mixed. Good: They did a thorough diagnosis of the vehicle issues that I requested & provided a detailed printout of what they did. I felt that the price quote for the heater core replacement was fair. Bad: I had a 9 AM appointment. They said they would get to my car in the afternoon. I understand things happen, but I’m not sure what the point of an appointment is if it’s going to be hours before the car is seen. I could have used my car to run errands during that time. I was also told I would get a call back that afternoon, but I didn’t get a return call until after I called the after hours line for pride automotive. The quote I was given for replacing the latching mechanism was pretty high. Lastly, when I picked my car up, I discovered that they did not reattach the panel that goes over the hatch back of my vehicle. I’ve included a picture of how I found the interior of my car. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I wonder how they leave my car if I were to choose to use them for any of the services my car needs.
