We are still currently here. We were just staying for the night. There’s a strong gas smell as soon as you walk in. Our room smells the same. They told me it’s a pipe that runs outside but the ac units and the back door being used brings the fumes back in. But they assured us it’s non toxic. So we’ll see if we wake up in the morning. We thought we’d go swim to try to get out of the room. By far the nastiest pool I’ve encountered. It smells like sewer. It’s dark. I took a step in and couldn’t see my feet on the 2nd step. My wife and daughter tried jumping in but instantly regretted it. They came out smelling like sewer water. I asked the front desk what’s wrong with the pool. They just said yea, it’s like that until management comes to clean it. Why not put up a sign?? I wish we could just get our money back and go somewhere else. Please do your research and read reviews before staying here. Definitely would not recommend
Stayed here for a weekend at the Dallas stair fair. Ubering there on a Saturday morning was ~$12, and ubered back at night for about the same price. LOVE how cheap and convenient it was to do all that vs driving to the fair and paying for parking and then driving home (we from out of town!) Hotel was decent, not the fanciest rooms, but overall was good for a 2* hotel. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast too—especially the waffle batter (vanilla and s’mores flavor offered). The women work hard putting out food during the morning! The staff at the front desk were really nice and hospitable and overall offered great customer service. I parked in the front of the building which was nicely lit and I had zero issues with safety! The cleaning ladies were nice and kind too :)

Room was nice and seemed pretty clean. Pool was yucka yucka. It’s not even 5 feet deep and you couldn’t see the bottom because it was so cloudy. There was a layer of film on the top and lots of algae growing. Something is off with the maintenance or the chemicals in the pool and it is not safe to swim in.
This was a last minute booking with this hotel. The price had doubled due to State Fair and Cotton Bowl game. 🥹 I was pleasantly surprised and so so impressed. Walking in, everything was immaculate. The desk clerk was so kind and professional. We had a two night stay. Great breakfast, convenient to everthing(shopping, eating, activities, etc..) We had the king suite, not a speck of dust, spot or wrinkle. Clean, clean, clean ! The lobby, dining area, hallways, room, parking lot, everything was clean, spotless !!! 10 out of 10 for me.....and I'm picky 🤗
I loved my room. However there was no delightful view. Besides the view, it was such a joy being right in the heart of Downtown Dallas. At first I was skeptical about this hotel. I changed my mind after I walked in the lobby. The lobby is a huge lounge with comfortable chairs for guests to sit and enjoy the scenery. I stayed for 3 nights and encountered several different front desk attendants. Each attendant greeted me with a pleasant smile. You know the kind that makes you feel like you belong there. I felt like I was home. The person who checked me in spoke clearly providing information needed to help me with my stay. Breakfast served every morning with coffee. Great coffee too. I enjoyed sitting by a window and people watch while sipping the perfect cup of coffee. Actually I had two cups per day. Very good coffee. Price point was great as well.
