Went there with kids. There was only one person at the counter who didn't really offer much help or direction. The place was is different areas (different floors & buildings). We found the upper floor but when we tried finding the one in another building, the person on the counter said to go through the gum wall and you will find it. There were no signs. Three times we asked and she repeated the same message. We ended up leaving without finishing our visit of the place. So disappointed because we even paid for VIP tickets. No souvenir in the end like we were supposed to have either. Not sure if I can recommend this place from the experience we had.
Recommend making a group/birthday reservation directly on their website. Staff had great communication, were very friendly, and helpful. They also have a variety of soft drinks, beer, and hard seltzers available for purchase. We had a group of 14 for a birthday and they let us arrange to bring our own cake. All ages of my family had a wonderful time including our hard-to-impress teenager! We were able to snap so some many memorable family photos. Overall, I highly recommend the Original Selfie Museum for a fun family or group activity. You should absolutely consider a trip here for your next session of family photos.

Was a fun experience for the kids especially the two teenagers. Glad there were only a handful of people as i5ts not a huge space. There is an upstairs and downstairs area each with multiple backdrops and a few props.
