I completed a rotation in this clinical externship program in Indianapolis in February 2026, and I had a really great experience. It provides valuable hands-on exposure to primary care and urgent care, which is very helpful for IMGs preparing for U.S. residency. Dr. Khan is an excellent mentor. He is very kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and he always takes the time to explain his clinical thinking and answer questions. The staff in the clinic are also very warm and kind, and they were very supportive during my rotation. This program helped me improve my clinical documentation, patient communication, and overall understanding of how medicine is practiced in the U.S. I would definitely recommend it to other IMGs looking for meaningful U.S. clinical experience.
I am very grateful to find a civil surgeon and schedule the immigration medical exam so efficiently without weeks of waiting. From setting up appointment to the final exam, the lady at the front desk was so sweet, Dr. Khan extremely knowledgable, the nurse (young girl) was kind too. It was such a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for immigration exam.

Dr. Khan and his staff are excellent. I had felt sick for weeks and seen another physician. Despite multiple visits, I wasn't feeling any better. I walked in to Dr. Khan's practice and despite a packed schedule he was able to squeeze me in. He immediately diagnosed me and took the time to carefully explain my condition as well as the treatment. I feel much better. Thank you Dr. Khan!

I had such an incredibly pleasant experience with the whole staff and especially Dr. Khan at International Family Medicine and Urgent Care! I was on a trip from Oregon and walked in for an urgent care appointment with Dr. Khan, experiencing an extremely painful issue. I was immediately helped by their friendly staff, and they worked out my insurance over the phone to be seen asap. I was seen by Dr. Khan within minutes of intake, and he went right to work, helping me immensely with my pain, explaining everything that was going on very thoroughly, and assuring me things will get better with the coarse of self-care and meds he prescribed me. This was by far the most compassionate, caring, and effective urgent care visits I've ever had. I highly reccomend Dr. Khan and his team if you're in need of any health care in the area!
