After a couple X-rays they said were “no charge” the dentist told me she could see bacteria under mom’s gums ON THE X-RAYS. Seriously??? She did not even ask mom to open her mouth. Zero exam! Immediately started in on how a deep cleaning in four visits was necessary. When I said Mom’s excellent reputable dentist never mentioned this and we weren’t interested , the dentist wandered off “to see if someone” could just clean her teeth. Then the “financial consultant” came in. After two hours of this song and dance we left. No exam, no cleaning. Now I see they billed insurance $1600 for this crap. Do NOT go to this scam factory. I could tell they felt kinda bad trying to rip off a nice old lady. They didn’t even seem surprised that we left. But they still sent a 1600 bill for some X-rays they told me they would not charge us for. Shameful.
My entire experience at Edgewood Smiles from start to finish was simply phenomenal. I’m an incredibly anxious person and have avoided the dentist for years because of bad experiences - this place has made me comfortable enough to seek care again. Everyone from the office managers, Jack and Nick, to my hygienist Anya (I believe), and Dr Sampat were so personable and comforting. Every single step of the experience was explained and allowed me to become comfortable with each process. Jack and Nick - sweetest guys ever and helped me so much through this process. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will be a patient here as long as I live in Atlanta. Thank you again, team.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now, and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. They make me feel comfortable every visit and always take the time to explain things clearly. I really appreciate the consistency and quality of care. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.
I was taken care of by this wonderful staff for my well-overdue exam. Everyone was knowledgeable and made my exam stress free and informed me of my treatment options with efficiency. Nick did an amazing job informing me of the best financial options that accommodated my individual needs. This was my first visit, so I think it’s safe to say I’ve gained my new dental family!
I had the most amazing experience at this office! Dr. Sampat was absolutely incredible, professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. De’Andrea, the assistant office manager, went above and beyond to help me create an affordable treatment plan that worked for me. I truly appreciated her care and attention. Josh & Courtney are the best dental assistants I've ever met. Any time I had clinical questions, they answered them thoroughly and made sure I felt informed and confident about my treatment. The whole team made my visit smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable! Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for top-notch dental care with a personal touch.
