I walked in after work on a Friday because I was driving by & decided to stop & try a new restaurant. I enjoy luxurious things & they had Luxe in their name, so I thought why not treat myself to some luxuriousness today? When I walked in, nice jazzy r&b music was playing, various sports was playing on the televisions, & the decor was very posh. The interior was clean & well designed, the atmosphere was laid back/chill, & everyone appeared to be having a good time. The server approached me with a pleasant smile & gave me a menu after hearing that I just got off work & was hungry. So, I sat at the bar & had a patron tell me how delicious several of the menu options are including the lambchops & the lamb burger. I wanted to eat light, so I ordered the spring salad ($14) with grilled shrimp (+$10) to go. I paid $34.49 for my food which included a forced gratuity (& they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to include an additional tip!). When I bit into the shrimp to do a taste test before taking my to go order home, as you can see from the photo it was seasoned very well & tasted absolutely delicious. I devoured the salad at home because it was also delicious...but here's the additional tip Luxe Prive/Malles Hot Tamales: You should notify customers in the menu that there's a huge mandatory gratuity because no salad in Toledo, including your delicious little shrimp spring salad is worth paying $34.49 for it (especially not for take out).
Went for brunch and really enjoyed myself. Staff was BEYOND friendly from start to finish. I got the Big Luxe Brunch Bowl along with a peach mimosa and everything was wonderful..first time I’ve ever been able to eat at a restaurant without adding salt/pepper etc to my food lol . I will be back!

The food was very decent. The fish was fresh! I didn't have to add any seasonings. The mac & cheese wasn't what I expected there wasn't a lot of cheese. The food could have been warmer. The service was very good. And the music was great! Beware gratuity is already added to your check.
Visited Lux Prive while visiting Toledo from Detroit and overall it was a nice chill spot with a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated them putting the Pistons playoff game on while we were there! The salmon & shrimp alfredo was really good, and the drinks were solid as well. Those were definitely the highlights food-wise. Unfortunately, the chicken wings and steak bites were pretty disappointing because they lacked seasoning and flavor. Service was decent, but I would’ve liked our server to check in on us a bit more throughout the meal. The biggest downside, though, was having to constantly swat gnats away while trying to eat. That definitely took away from the experience. Overall, it has potential and a nice vibe for a casual night out, especially for drinks and catching a game.
Visited lastnight with 12 friends. We were seated up front of the stage and yes it was loud but the band was great. It took a while for our food to come out but in the middle of our wait my chair collapsed and I hit the floor and my head hit the wall. Later 4 screws were found under the chair. I woke up with a sore wrist, elbow, and a slight headache. My food came out before the appetizer one of which was sold out at 630pm. Catfish excellent, Mac and cheese great. Green beans I did not like ...tasted like vinegar might have been in them. I do not like vinegar in too much of anything. Vinegar is a condiment that folks can add if they like. In my opinion. Took forever to be cashed out which I was given 10 bucks off my bill after sprawling all over the floor. The staff was attentive but timing was off. I will try them again and some different entrees next time. The place was packed and the vibe was good. Tighten up your chairs.
