This was a very iconic, neat restaurant with a lovely rotating view of Atlanta. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend this version of the sea bass (had the perfect sear, was buttery, and moist). Also, try the pork chop (fantastic carmelization of the sauce, packed full of flavor)! The Honey-O smoked old-fashioned made with honey from the Polaris bee colony was awesome and presented in a fun way; same for the Blue Dome dessert which was also very tasty. The swanky mid-century livingroom atmosphere had a vibe! And rotating to see the open kitchen with the hardworking chefs or to see the loungy lobby was just neat! Overall, a wonderful experience. Do ask for Jae to serve you, she was a dear!
The drinks are strong, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is one of a kind. What a unique experience. The atmosphere in combination with the amazing food makes this an incredible choice if you are visiting Atlanta. Come a little early because there was a bit of chaos at valet but the restaurant itself was so fun! We were definitely impressed. I never clear my plate - so you know this food was delicious!! Best scallops I’ve had in the states!

Polaris, located at the Hyatt Regency, was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. For appetizers, we had the bread service, pork belly, and island clams—each one was excellent and full of flavor. For the main course, my daughter ordered the sea scallops, which were perfectly prepared, and we also shared the Wagyu Oscar steak. The steak was outstanding—very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The mixed drinks were also top-tier and complemented the meal well. The service was impeccable. Antoinette was our server, and she was fantastic—very attentive, professional, and friendly throughout the evening. The location is great, the décor is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere adds to the experience. Valet parking is available; just make sure to get your ticket stamped. There is no military discount, unfortunately, but overall, this was a really great visit. I would definitely return and highly recommend Polaris for a special dining experience.
✨First visit to Polaris. Flew to Atlanta from Florida to attend a private event held in February at one of Atlanta’s premier dining establishments. It is truly a vibe whether you are dining solo, coupled, family or group. This is Black Excellence!!! Although it is a rotating restaurant, it is very subtle. The restaurant - located in the Hyatt Regency- offers a slow, 360-degree rotation, providing different views of the Atlanta skyline throughout the meal. • Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended and can be made through their website or platforms like OpenTable. • Atmosphere: Described as romantic, upscale, and suitable for special occasions or business dining. • Hours: Generally open for dinner, featuring a full bar with signature cocktails. It is recommended to check their website for the most up-to-date hours and menu before visiting. We had a preset menu and the fare was delicious. They specialize in small and shareable plates. A mixologist was even brought in to customize cocktails for guests in our party.🍸 Kudos to the restaurant manager and staff for helping create happy customers with wonderful memories memories. I look forward to returning again. ✨✨
Lovely staff. Our waitress Jae was exceptional.telling us about food and view point from restaurant. Food and drinks were absolute amazing. It’s a pricey place but absolutely worth it. Also Fun with the rotating restaurant.
