Molly Brown House Museum

Our bridal shower at the Molly Brown House Museum was absolutely wonderful. We chose the private tour and tea package, and it was the perfect blend of elegance and history. A massive thank you goes to Mike Erickson, the Volunteer and Event Manager. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, Mike was incredible. He was a prompt communicator, highly organized, and so thoughtful with every detail. It is clear he takes great pride in his work, and he truly went above and beyond to make the day special for our group. Before tea, we had a private tour with Eli, who was outstanding. She was engaging and her passion for the house and its history really showed. She kept us all captivated with stories about Margaret Brown's life and legacy. The museum itself is a true gem. It is immaculately cared for and beautifully curated to reflect the time period. We hosted our tea in the third-floor servant quarters, which is an inviting room full of character. It provided a unique atmosphere that made the event feel truly one-of-a-kind. If you are looking for a venue with deep history and charm, this is not to be missed!

I highly recommend visiting the Molly Brown House Museum if you want to experience the substantive legacy of a true paradigm of social justice. In my opinion, the most impactful part of the tour is learning how she utilized her home as a Jane Addams Hull House for wayward girls, and how she subsequently worked with Judge Ben Lindsey to help establish the juvenile justice system.
