We had such a fun time at the Phoenix Children’s Museum! There are three stories packed with hands-on activities, and it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring. My son had a blast, and there was something engaging around every corner. The museum has their own onsite parking lot, but it fills up quickly especially in the afternoon so arriving earlier is a good idea. Inside, the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. I was able to get in for free thanks to a teacher friend. Teachers receive free admission and can bring one adult guest when they show their valid teaching credential at the front desk, which was a wonderful perk! A few things to keep in mind: * Some play areas require adult supervision. * The three-story climbing structure is fun but very tight inside. As someone who’s shorter, I was able to move through it comfortably, but taller adults may find it a bit cramped. * The museum is very popular, so expect crowds. Some exhibits can get busy, making it harder to fully enjoy certain play areas during peak hours. Definitely a great experience and I think it’s worth the money if you are coming in from out of town and need some fun indoor activities to do while staying cool. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for families and a great way to keep kids entertained for hours. I’d definitely recommend visiting just plan to arrive early or evening hours if you can! We’d love to revisit again in the near future.
What a great place to bring your grandkids! There are 3 floors of non-stop fun. The kids were having the time of their lives, they didn't want to leave I signed up with their email to save some money, but I haf forgotten to redeem the $5.00 off admission for up to two. Even though it can get crowded in some of the rooms, just have some patience and you will be able to participate. The kids really enjoyed the garden. They also had the Foam Zone next to the garden, the kids loved that. Be sure to bring an extra change of clothing! Overall, great place to spend hours with your littles!

A perfect summer morning for the whole family! We spent a wonderful morning at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix and it exceeded every expectation. The Foam Zone outside was an absolute hit — the kids were completely soaked and laughing the whole time, and the shaded tent setup made it bearable even in the already-warming Phoenix morning. The hat-making craft station was a highlight for our little one; she dove into the feathers, ribbons, and colorful paper with total focus and came out wearing her masterpiece with so much pride. The reading nook — a cozy circular cutout with plush purple carpet — was one of those unexpectedly sweet moments where she just settled in quietly with a book. Even the lobby surprise of costumed superheroes (Deadpool, Batman, and Spider-Man!) had the kids buzzing. The building itself has wonderful character: exposed brick walls, great natural light, and charming little details like the quirky robot clock on the exterior. Staff were friendly and the space was clean and well-organized. Pro tip: go in the morning before it gets too crowded and hot outside!
We had a lot of fun weekend here! Perfect for little ones 12 months+ who can crawl, they've got play zones for different age groups. The staff were super friendly and welcoming! If you're living in Arizona, I'd say just grab the annual pass—totally worth it!
Visited with a 19 month old who loves to explore - and this surely delivered. Each floor provides a variety of options to choose from and experiences that cater to all age ranges. We visited at a year old and were limited to the experience, but once they hit walking stage the doors explode with opportunities. From the first floor tree house and soft foam blocks to the open-play blocks and gears - the experience builds as you work through each floor.
