Celebrating our anniversary at Alexander Pierce in Akron proved to be an outstanding decision, earning a well-deserved five stars. Logistically, the evening started smoothly with the convenience of free parking right next to the restaurant. Upon entering, the staff made the occasion feel special immediately. Our table was beautifully decorated with rose petals, a lit candle, and a personalized "Happy Anniversary!" card. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and highly professional. The service was a major standout of the night, with our servers, Sam and Brittany, providing exceptional care throughout our meal. As for food and drinks, we tried two different cocktails, which were well-crafted and set a great tone for the evening. For the first course, we ordered the French onion soup and the lobster bisque. While the French onion soup carried a great, classic flavor, the lobster bisque was a true highlight. It featured a unique flavor profile, a generous amount of lobster meat, and was uniquely paired with a triangle-shaped croissant pastry. Our main courses maintained this high standard of execution. The seabass was served with a risotto and asparagus, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The filet was a particular highlight—cooked to the requested temperature and served with a unique melting herb butter candle on top, alongside a side of Brussels sprouts. We finished the evening with the carrot cake, which was massive, clearly meant for two, complete with a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate plaque. The cake was incredibly moist and rich, making it an excellent dessert to share, and we easily took more than half of it home. To close out the night, the restaurant provided a complimentary glass of champagne. Overall, Alexander Pierce delivered a flawless experience. I highly recommend it, particularly for celebrating a special occasion.

My husband and I enjoyed an incredible meal and impeccable service at Alexander Pierce. We were surprised to find our table decorated with rose petals, thanking us for celebrating our wedding anniversary at their restaurant. Our cocktails were delicious. We took our server Brittany’s recommendation and started our meal with the salmon special appetizer. Delicious! Next was lobster bisque, with puff pastry and lots of lobster. Our entrees (filet with asparagus and scallops for me, pork chop with whipped mash for him) were cooked to perfection. Brittany surprised us with complimentary flutes of bubbly at the end of our meal to thank us for celebrating at Alexander Pierce. The meal, service, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We truly felt the sincerity and warmth of the staff from the moment we entered the art deco doors. We will be back, and next time will save room for the incredible desserts! Thank you for making our 21st anniversary so memorable and special.
I enjoyed my experience. Our server was Rebecca and she was so knowledgeable and provided great service. We got the oysters as an appetizer and they were perfection. For my dinner, I got the surf and turf special with a filet and crab leg. The steak was to be cooked medium, and was just okay. It was a bit tough and I've had better steaks at other steakhouses. I would come back to try other menu items.
Our servers Sam and Brittany made my retirement dinner experience exceptional. They were attentive, engaging, and professional. They also projected genuine happiness to be serving my guests while providing a classy yet festive dining experience for the occasion. Additionally, Jessica professionally handled the reservation confirmation and warmly welcomed us into the restaurant checking periodically on our service and comfort. Thank you!
Our experience was incredible. Amazing food, even more incredible service. Brittany was our server and was exceptional. She made the best martini customized to my liking. This is our 2nd time celebrating my birthday here and loved every second. The coat room is the move—so personable and romantic.
