One Medical is how all medical care should be delivered. Setting up an appointment is a breeze in the app and I am always able to find an appointment within days of when I first determine that I need to see a doctor. Once there, the doctor or NP really works with me, listens to me and spends time with me (about 30 to 40 minutes each visit). Having labs on the premises on a walk in basis is so convenient. I get my blood panels and vaccinations there. My NP Denerica Curry is excellent and really tries to understand my concerns and works with me to find solutions that fit for me. She also does my referrals for mammograms, etc. Overall, One Medical have been a great experience and will keep me coming back.
Cannot give enough stats for Dr Vikash Patel. I feel like he’s the first doctor that I’ve seen in over a decade that hears my actual concerns and slows down to think them through. Often times when I’m receiving medical care, it feels the provider just says the first thing/diagnosis that comes to mind and keeps on moving. Dr. Patel has helped me find and diagnose ailments that have been bothering me for years, after seeking help from a handful of other providers. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I am so thankful to have found him. Hoping he never relocates because he is a diamond in the rough in today’s healthcare system.

I have seen both of the providers at this location and I can tell you. These are the providers you want taking care of you and your loved ones. They pick up on time, care deeply for their patients, take the time to develop a thorough care plan, and think outside of the box when it comes to healthcare. With One Medical I can book same say sick visits, I can book preventative care visits such as Annual Physicals, Women's Well Visits, join a Diabetic focused program called Impact, and so many other options. While One Medical may not be able to provide every service under the sun, they are stellar at managing holistic healthcare and are the cleanest and friendliest offices I've ever been to. They also have affordable pricing for insurance and out of pocket costs. Thankful to have found my place for my healthcare needs!
I signed up through Amazon. My initial visit with the provider was awesome. Mrs. Curry is awesome. The following interactions were challenging. There is not cohesiveness between the lab expectations and the provider front office staff. I do not see the benefit of paying 100 to Amazon. There is not a discount in service. Patients can just contact the provider on their own.
One Medical at the Heights has completed changed how I view doctor's appointments. I can schedule an appointment (either in person or virtual) with my primary care physician within a day (never have I had to schedule more than two days out due to lack of availability). I can send messages to my team online and get responses very quickly. When I show up for my appointment, the appointment actually starts on time! I've been seeing Dr. Patel and Dr. Curry for three years and they have exponentially improved my health over that time. The front staff are always kind and courteous and make me feel heard. Tara, the phlebotomist, is beyond excellent. I can't say enough things about this team. I'm a completely different person due to the care and attention of this team, and I couldn't be happier for it. In the beginning, I was hesitant about going to a doctor's office that has a yearly "subscription" attached. I couldn't be more happy with my decision to trust One Medical with my care, and the cost of their services is 10000% worth it. One other benefit of One Medical that I love - I went to California on a family trip and contracted covid. Because One Medical has locations across the US, I was able to have a virtual appointment with a doctor in California and was able to get my covid treated. While I very much prefer my PCP Dr. Patel, if for some reason he is not available, there are teams of doctors across the city and state (and if you're traveling outside of Texas, across the country), who can help.
