I’ve been going with John and now his son James for over 4 years they are my mechanic to call for any issue extremely trustworthy and always give you a detailed explanation of the service you are receiving , I had tried other mechanics in the past and trust me when I tell you many will tip you off sale you something used or recycled while telling you is new and, over-charge you. At Johns auto I have received professional service and at an affordable cost and honest value and price for parts and labor. 1000% recommend them.
Been here a couple times, always friendly, fast, honest and affordable service from Javier and his son. First time was for a catalytic converter replacement and Javier took the time to find the most affordable parts for me. Second time was for a transmission fluid replacement, only took an hour and was affordable. Both times I was able to bring the car in and have the work done on the same day. These guys are the best!

Called James at 3:30 in the afternoon after my car wouldn't start and AAA said my starter needed replacement. I live out-of-town. James did the work for me that afternoon so I could get back on the road and be home the same night. Much appreciated!
I went in today about my smart mirror since I hit a bus. Javier was so patient, knowledgeable and understanding. He helped fixed it and didn’t give up on it even though it seemed impossible to fix. He’s super nice and very good at what he does. Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of different mechanics all over LA and this is my go to spot going forward. Prices are reasonable and fair. I’m so so happy I found this place . 10/10 on customer service and repair! I’m recommending this place to everyone I know! I just had to leave a review. Thank you
Got my oil changed for a reasonable price by James! Awesome job he was quick and thorough. Also gave me a thorough break down about smog and my engine. Highly recommend John's auto repair shop. Definatly coming back! I loved the energy I told my Dad afterwards how trustworthy James is.
