Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious. everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts, especially the outdoor seating. It had such a relaxed, enjoyable vibe that made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back!
Enjoyed their Crispy Thai Salmon- very fresh. Served on a bed of brown rice with fresh cabbage, carrots, Lima beans, and cucumber- I only wished that their was more sauce since the brown rice was quite dry and the dry vegetables left me wanting. Drinks were amazing, I had a mango lassi cocktail (not pictured), and mocktail that was very vibrant- I believe it was called “the monsoon”. Don’t quote me on that. For the appetizer they had an egg wrapped in lamb with a mustard Dijon sauce- it was yummy but if you don’t like “gamey” flavors- stay away. For dessert I had a creme brûlée cheesecake- flavors and textures were wonderful. Be prepared to spend $$$. All around great service and I would definitely come back again.

What an absolutely incredible culinary experience! Let me first start off by saying the ambiance is a whole vibe! This establishment is beautiful, well kept, clean, clear and organized. The staff is very helpful and nice. Our waitress was very helpful and made some great recommendations. The food itself was out of this world! We started with the calamari and it was incredible - the sauce they add on top is amazing! My wife got the Bang Bang tacos which were exquisite. I got the Shrimp Florentine pasta and it was one of the best pastas I've had in a very long time. The drinks were very creative and poured & mixed to perfection! This was an absolutely amazing experience for my wife and I. We highly recommend that everyone try this establishment out. We cannot wait to come back for our next experience 🙌 ❤️
I drove all the way from Toledo to try Lumen, and I can honestly say it was worth every mile. By the time I got into Detroit, the traffic had me questioning my decision, but as soon as I sat down and the food arrived, I forgot all about the drive. I ordered the Thai salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetables added a nice freshness that balanced the dish really well. The atmosphere was beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax and catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in years. Between the delicious food, the inviting ambiance, along with the chance to reconnect, the whole experience made the drive completely worth it. I'll definitely be back.
Lumen really did not disappoint. Everything our group ordered from the appetizers and beer/wine to the main courses and finally the desserts was all 10/10 spectacular.
