I started seeing Dr. Molina about a year ago and she and everyone that works there have been amazing. I have always had anxiety at the dentist as a lot of people do and I have to say my visit today was as amazing as it could be getting a root canal. The staff up front are so welcoming and kind and the clinical personnel are outgoing and make you feel instantly relaxed and calm. Dr. Molina is gentle, efficient and good at what she does. I am glad I found them. I definitely recommend highly.
I have been coming to Van Buren Dental for 25+ years and have always had great service! The staff are very knowledgeable, caring and pleasant. It’s obvious that they enjoy working there! The office is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend VBD! 😊
3 out of 3 appointments were mediocre at best. Most of the issues were small ones, but there were multiple small issues in each appointment that added up. Appointment 1: The person taking the x-rays scraped up the inside of my mouth with the bite tabs pretty bad, and did not get more gentle or careful when I told her that it hurt. (I have never had an issue with x-rays before.) Appointment 2: They gave too much lidocaine with the cavity filling and it made it feel like I couldn't swallow. Appointment also ran late. Appointment 3: Ran 50 minutes late (with no notification that they were delayed and no info given about how long it would take). The tech doing the cleaning crossed boundaries. I'd made a quick comment to someone else saying it hadn't been the best day, which this tech apparently overheard, and decided to ask me about it during the appointment; when I didn't respond but looked upset, she proceeded to say "oh, you look like you're about to cry!" (in an open room where others could hear) and put her hand on my shoulder and kept it there for several seconds, which I hadn't asked for, and did not feel comfortable being touched by a total stranger. I finally had to ask her to move on, at which point she did thankfully let it drop. Then when checking out, there was a discrepancy between what my plan brochure said was covered and what the info the plan had sent them said was covered. Instead of being like 'oh how weird, here's how we can collaboratively figure out what's going on', the response (paraphrased) was a fairly adversarial 'well this is what the plan gave us,' without even asking to see the brochure, and when I tried to understand if there could have been an error, 'let me get my manager.' (But the manager was busy so it would have been another who knows how long to get an answer.) They claim they'll submit it to insurance and reimburse me if they pay, but we'll see if that actually happens. 2 stars because the actual fillings seem fine.

I have been a patient at Van Buren Dental for over 30 years. I loved the small town feel of a large city dentist office. Everyone was friendly and knew my family and I theirs. That has definitely changed over the years. Now they have almost outgrown their space and people are now dollars and cents to them and it’s not about the care of the client as much as it is about getting paid and seeing as many patients as possible. I will continue to use them as my dentist only because I don’t like change but it wouldn’t bother me to go somewhere else I would be treated no differently in another establishment
The entire staff has always been great. Doctor Molina is friendly Processional and communicates clearly the treatment plans. Pam took extra care at today’s visit to ensure the best outcome. I appreciate all of the attention to providing the best patient care.
