I like Oak Street Health because of the friendly staff. Dylon was very helpful with giving me all the information about Oak Street Health and the doctors and nurse practitioners that are available, the cleanliness and set up in the lobby, community room, and through out the doctor's office (clinic). Dylon gave me a tour. Everything looked so nice. Dr. Z was amazing. He took the time to listen and talk to me about my medical history and the medications that I'm on. Everyone went over and beyond. Oak Street Health is now my new doctor provider. They put their patient's needs first.
I wouldn’t send an animal here. They don’t follow through. I’ve called two days in a row twice each day for my father‘s medication and all I keep saying is it’ll be given to a Care team member and they’ll get back with you. Well, no one has gotten back with us to this moment so I’m gonna have to take my dad over to the ER. This place is unreal to try to get an appointment for or to try to get anyone to call you back so I would advise you to find a different place because that’s definitely what I’m going to do for my father..

We recently moved to the Dayton area and needed to get my mom a primary care doctor. The first appointment was ok. The gal messed up on the documentation that we needed to get a handicap plaque for my vehicle. My mom had a hearing test and Oak said they didn't receive the results. My mom needs to have prescriptions refilled and can't get a response. My mom was scheduled for an appointment went and waited and found out the appointment was canceled and no one bothered to call to let us know. My mom is in a wheelchair and getting her places can be a challenge. My brother called 3 times and I called twice. I was told a manager would call me but that hasn't happened. I would not recommend this facility. My complaint is consistent with the other remarks about not communicating and getting results for anything. Don't waste your time. I don't know how this office continues to stay open for patients.
First visit was great. If you need testing done is great. Don’t ever try to get in for a sore throat or UTI. Even though the nurse on duty says she’ll get a prescription called in they never do. Refills are impossible to get without making numerous contacts. Also I was switched from one provider for an upcoming appointment to another with no notice or explanation.
Im amazed at how thorough and caring the staff is. Nothing was rushed...They spent a lot of time with me. Sometimes with doctors you get the feeling youre just another older person...lie why waste time on me. I felt important. They combine professionals withe caring perfectly
