If you like history, this place is for you. It's like stepping back in time. There were only 6 buildings open with little displays. Many buildings need to be fixed up yet, I hope they can get the funding because this place would be awesome to see all the buildings and have staff play the part as someone long ago.
The City Park (From 1936 to 1941 it was called Sullivan Park in honour of Daniel Sullivan) is in the heart of down town Dallas with many historic land marks. It was a great experience to see many important structures how it looks many days ago - in 19th century.
What an amazing place. So beautyfull. You really get a sence of what it was like in the 1800s. Some buildings really need restoration. I so hope they will get the chance to do this couse it would be a big loss of history. As a tourist from europe this is exactly the kind of place i like to see.

This historic park was a wonderful place to visit. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and they clearly care about keeping the park well-maintained. Everything was clean and easy to enjoy, which made the experience even better. I really appreciated the atmosphere and the sense of history throughout the grounds. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I felt there could have been a bit more information or interactive displays to enhance the experience. Overall, though, it’s a great spot to explore and definitely worth a visit!
Less than half of the buildings left open. Many of the older homes have been left to rot away. I would still recommend going still a lot to see and take in
