We ordered quite a bit of food for the table and wow, everything was delicious. Our server was so kind I wish I got his name but he has short locs ✨ excellent service I would recommend The Vig to everyone looking for good food and a lovely atmosphere. Their house margarita is solid 🍋🟩 Just for reference: We RSVP ahead of time so we walked right up and was seated. Kid friendly. There was a water bowl on the ground in the outdoor area so I asked a server if it was dog friendly and he confirmed. Street parking right in front or up the street.
Went to The Vig and overall it was a decent experience, but not perfect. The atmosphere is definitely the main draw. Food-wise, it was good but not amazing. I got the hot honey chicken and fries. The flavor was decent, I really felt that the coleslaw overpowered the honey flavor… like a lot. I think a better choice would be to spice it up with more sauce or put way less slaw on it. As far as drinks go, I got the hibiscus soda. It was honestly pretty nice and refreshing with a tart flavor. Unfortunately though, I was never offered a refill on the soda nor the waters at the table. Service was slow after the order was placed. After I finished eating I waited there for what felt like close to 20 mins for the check/server but never saw him again. Overall, I’d say The Vig is more about the vibe than the food. It’s a great place to go with friends or for a casual night out, but if you’re looking for a quiet dinner or something super high-end, this isn’t really it.

It was my daughter's graduation from college. So we was looking for somewhere to go to grab a quick bite. So my cousins found this place, which was my daughter, and my first time there, everything was great. It's a really nice restaurant in the inside. The service is good. The food is good and nice size portions Our waiter was very friendly and polite and so were the other staff. They also have happy hour as well. Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 and they have a happy hour menu, I will recommend this place to my family and friends. Oh, and they also gave my daughter a free dessert for her graduation. We Thought that was really nice.
What a find, lived here for 5 months and didn’t realize this place was so good. Highly recommend ordering the chilaquiles. Ordered without dairy and without the crema and it was exquisite. Also got a ride of the salsa (really good) and chipotle aioli. The roja sauce was also full of flavor and the mimosas were great!
Very awesome place near downtown! Gorgeous outdoor area and a lovely restaurant altogether. Very nice service and great variety on the menu. The burger jumped up to my top 5 list, everything was perfection!
