We visited Ken Stewart's Grille for a birthday dinner with a 6:00 PM reservation. The evening started on a high note; they offer a free parking lot, and the security gentleman outside was a highlight. The cocktails we ordered were excellent, and the food itself was also quite good—the halibut was well-prepared, the filet was a quality cut, and the dessert was well-presented. The service and pacing, on the other hand, were a major disappointment. The timing was remarkably poor and ignored standard dining etiquette. My husband’s appetizer arrived almost 30 minutes into our dinner, but since I didn't order an appetizer, I ended up sitting for an hour with nothing but a drink before bread finally reached the table at 7:00 PM. Normally, bread service should arrive well before the first course. Then, our salads arrived at 7:10 PM, followed by the main courses just a few minutes later while I was still eating my salad. At the end of the meal, the dessert again took an unusually long time, not arriving until 8:20 PM. Ultimately, we spent almost three hours at the restaurant. The evening managed to feel both incredibly slow and strangely rushed at the same time; we spent more time waiting for basic service than actually enjoying the meal. Further adding to the frustration, the filet arrived missing the bacon wrap and sauce. Initially we had to flag down a different staff member to get this corrected as our server, Ryan, was nowhere to be found. Fortunately, the kitchen promptly rectified that mistake. As for the overall service, throughout the night, it felt very basic at best; there was no proactive communication, explanation, or apologies regarding the long delays. There was also a clear disconnect in internal communication; the hostess acknowledged the birthday upon arrival, yet this information never seemed to reach our server, who didn't mention it until prompted at the very end of the meal. In conclusion, the high price point simply did not reflect the service we received. Despite the quality of the food, the uncoordinated pacing and lack of attentive hospitality made this feel more like a casual chain than a premier steakhouse. Not the experience you want for a special occasion.

Nice place. Food was great in flavor and portion sizes, served exactly as ordered. Wait staff was very nice and vibe was classic & moody. Would eat there again.
Went there for my birthday (it was my first time there). Was seated immediately by very friendly hosts, and they were extremely accommodating prior to that when I called because I was running late. That alone earns them a star in my book; they really took the pressure/stress off. The service was, as expected, highly professional and accommodating in every way you would need or ask for. The food was simply delicious and perfectly prepared (most notably the steak, which every restaurant - even your chain steakhouses - somehow manages to completely screw up more often than not. But here, if you ask for "medium", you are more than likely going to get just that). They even did a special thing for my birthday (always a nice touch). Tip on the beverages: this is not a criticism, but it seems like most of their signature cocktails on the menu tend to be very strong and heavy on the liquor (which in fairness, they did mention beforehand). It was too strong for my liking, but they do let you order pretty much any standard cocktail that you want, which are not on the menu, and those were excellent. I'm sure you could ask to not make it too strong as well. Overall, a polished experience and I'd highly recommend. Prices are about what you'd expect for a high-end restaurant, but if you leave out some of the "extras" (appetizers, cocktails, sides - which, btw, are ALL à la carte), you could definitely keep the bill more reasonable. And in my opinion, I think you are absolutely getting what you pay for, regardless of how much or little you get.
My first visit and already an instant favorite. The staff were so friendly and helpful- the table side prep of the Caesar was a fun touch to a delicious salad. We loved the family style sides. The Wagyu pigs in a blanket were amazing, and my steak was perfect.
I recently had lunch 2/28 celebrating my birthday here. We had the honor of having Rocky as our server. She was absolutely amazing! We did have a small hiccup but Rocky’s energy and enthusiasm and determination to make our experience amazing. And she didn’t disappoint! 😊 The mom and daughter manger team handled our hiccup post hastily. Thank you very much for this. And the beautiful young lady who was the hostess. Was wonderful. She was very pleasant. We were greeted wonderfully by her. 😊 Thank to your team for making my birthday special! P.S. when you go ask for Rocky she was Amazing!
