Josh and team did a stellar job on our two bathrooms and bedroom remodel. Dan, the project manager, was an absolute delight, which made the process smooth and almost pleasant. Never thought I'd say that about a remodel—especially an unplanned one that was caused by water damage. We will definitely use Empirical for any projects we have in the future.
My wife, my daughter and I hired Empirical Construction after interviewing several contractors in the Denver area. I am a stickler for reading each and every review I can find. From the moment we met Josh we were impressed with the way he “got” what we were trying to accomplish with the project. He came up with creative solutions to the problems we presented to him. One challenge was that we would be out of town for the bulk of the renovations and we needed someone who could do the work and not need too much hand holding from us. We also wanted to work with a designer to help with the overall look of the project and needed a contractor who could work with our designer. We awarded the contract to Empirical and we were thrilled with the results. Our project entailed a complete bathroom and kitchen remodel, hardwood flooring installation and refinishing. Because the house was built in the 1950’s the plumbing and electrical also required extensive upgrades. Empirical did everything by the book and pulled permits and helped us contract for testing for lead. By the book often means more money and time but it also means having a job done right. Empirical did our job right. Chuck was our project manager and he did an outstanding job working with us. He checked in with us weekly to do a video call to update us. Chuck is a problem solver and he was very easy to work with. He is first rate and I think Empirical is lucky to have him working for them. We would not hesitate to use Empirical again if the need arises.

Josh/Empirical are professional, fairly priced and do the right thing when there are issues. The quality of work was good with all of his subs, with some like tile/stone I would rate as excellent.
We recently completed an ADU project with Josh, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project took 9 months and stayed on time and on budget, which is no small feat in today’s market. Josh was excellent to work with—he provided clear guidance when we had to make budget-conscious decisions, helping us get the best value without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest advantages of working with Josh was his ability to navigate the complex city inspection process, which can be overwhelming. He handled it all with ease, ensuring everything was up to code and staying on top of all the requirements.
