It was good. It was interesting to see the wall of who's visited, plus the host was very engaged/knowledgeable about James Thurber. Unfortunately my experience was tainted by a couple kids who disrupted our tour. Not kids with parents, but a couple unsupervised kids that barged in and followed us around.
An absolutely beautiful place rich with history and culture! Spent the night here for a paranormal investigation and had an AMAZING experience. Every staff we encountered in the process was absolutely phenomenal. And on site having Steve and Meg there with us was absolutely unmatched. I've gone all over the country and been to so many locations that offer up their time to paranormal investigators and the people involved here at the Thurber house absolutely take the cake. What an amazing experience.

It is a great place for summer camps for kids. One of my daughters participated two summers in a raw before 2020. It was a writing camp. The camp improved her confidence and creativity.

Neat place. Books and Boos was enjoyable. Staff were friendly. House is haunted.
