This was fun & kinda spooky. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because no matter what the beer tasting is included & there is no gluten free option. I went with my friend who is highly Celiac & couldn’t drink anything. I get that they are known for the beer, but they should have a cider option for people with allergies, so they can feel included.
Great fun & educational. Caitlin, our guide, was funny & informative. The tunnels were an interesting way to spend 90 minutes, & learn some Portland history. Well worth the admission. The beer tasting at the end was a great wrap up of the tour. We even had a little supernatural event happen, when we were getting our complimentary drink. Maybe you’ll see it on future tours, since it happened at the bar & they have security cameras aimed at it.

Natasha was a fantastic guide and chock-full of fun facts, really engaging! Was it spooky? Not really. Was it cool? Yes!!! Bonus - you start off in a pub with food so you can have dinner right there before you head out.
Fantastic experience, Doug was an amazing tour guide. Doug was a great story teller, adding to the eeriness. History of the area was interesting too. Plus they have beer at the end of the tour!
I feel this is advertise wrong. They only mention the Shanghai tunnels, you do not go into any. The underground tunnels connected basement to storage and shipping but were closed off in the 1960s. They only underground you see is the basement under the old hotel/bar. The tour guide does tell you some ghost stores.
