Our stay at Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Polaris during a winter storm turned out to be an unexpectedly wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality we experienced truly made the stay special. The staff were incredibly courteous and always checked to see how they could best serve their guests. The breakfast was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that dinner is also served each evening—a wonderful bonus. Hotels in the Drury brand are known for their free hot breakfast and evening “5:30 Kickback” with food and drinks, which makes the stay even more convenient for families. One moment really stood out. The assistant general manager, Jordan Van Akin, noticed a mother with four young kids who were full of energy but stuck indoors due to the weather. He kindly offered them the use of a large empty conference room so the kids could play. Seeing the joy on the kids’ faces and the relief on the mother’s face was unforgettable. After four nights, our family came to the same conclusion: the staff and overall experience were simply spectacular. From now on, I will be looking for Drury Inn wherever I travel.
This was our first stay at a Drury, and we are definitely happy we gave it a try. We will return to this location and try other locations as well when able to, the price point was fantastic also. I was impressed with this hotel from the moment I walked in the door. The front desk ladies were friendly and professional. All of the employees that we encountered while here seemed to actually like their jobs. They did not seem to be inconvenienced by the hotel guests. The hotel was clean, smelled good and the decor was done in well taste. Something we have recently noticed when walking into hotels is the instant 'dirty' smell. At the more recent hotels we've stayed at, either there was a staff shortage OR possibly the lack of wanting to invest any money into staff. And it definitely is reflective in the hotel. Again, what a pleasant stay we had while we escaped to do some Christmas shopping and it was very conveniently located to everything.

We have never stayed at a Drury Inn and I'm so glad we chose this one. The gal at check in was beyond wonderful. She was kind and helpful and made sure to go above and beyond for us. After a rough drive I really appreciated that. The room was huge! Super clean. The only downside was the beds were not the greatest and the pillows were horrible. Breakfast was amazing. Dog friendly and well worth staying here.
I stayed here for a disability training in there conference room! Oh my gosh they were awesome to our group, the staff went above and beyond, including refunding one of our groups rooms because the air conditioning was not working, that was totally unexpected and amazing, the 5:30 kickback dinner was awesome, plus the breakfast, on the first morning here, I dropped my reusable mug and the lady attending the breakfast, asked me if she could wash it in the back real quick for me, I said yes of course, but it was so unexpected, and appricated. the general manager, Lauren Secrest was amazing with us especially with our conference room. also they were super flexible with the rooms and check out and check in times, they really took time to understand and really accommodate us. this hotel has good wifi, at least 100mbps download and up, thru spectrum business. no password was needed, so that is awesome. the conference room was not freezing so that's good, at other Drury inn's I have stayed in the conference room was so cold. they were awesome having a projector set up for our conference leader.
What a hidden gem. This is one of the best hotels ever, on every level. Outstanding service! I specifically like to thank receptionists Cody and Amber for going above and beyond to make their guests satisfied. We had very peaceful 5 days; great food, pool, hot tub, location. It is very cozy and nice. I will only book Drury from now on.
