DO NOT USE. Sorry for long review. This is the most inept company. First, they installed my new AC unit poorly. They did not extend the water release pipe into the drain but had it ending a foot or more above it. So when it released water it spewed all over my closet causing water damage. Then, the new unit broke down multiple times with different problems. Multiple technicians came to ‘fix’ it only for it to break the next day. They finally decided to replace the outside unit. First they said it would take a week for them to replace it because they had none in inventory. A week passes and nothing happens. I had to call multiple times to get an answer about my unit but they still had no idea when it would be placed. So my place has been a toasty 80+ degrees for multiple weeks after buying a new unit so I wouldn’t be without AC. You’d think I would cancel my contract with them but I was stuck because of warranty. So I let it be. Which brings us to today. My two year old unit stopped working. Tech guy came over and found the unit to be filthy. He decided to clean it but the water source was too far. He needed 150’ of hose and he only had 50’ and made me provide the hose. Needless to say I was not able to get the hose till the next day. He came out two days later, cleaned the unit and found that parts had been fried/broken because the unit couldn’t breathe. I’m on the monthly membership and had a tech come check on my unit in May (last month). The company says he cleaned it during the tune up but I know they didn’t because of three reasons 1. the tech that came this week to clean it didn’t know where the water source was. 2. The tech didn’t have long enough hose. I had to provide it. 3. No way enough dirt clogging my unit in one month They are charging me $400 to fix my two year old unit that they broke. If you don’t want this headache, I suggest going with a different company. I will never use this company again. Note: the technicians are all good, cordial and friendly, but the company is terrible.

Jamie Smith did an excellent job evaluating my existing HVAC system and going over the costs. He also went over financing a new unit and tried to get me the best affordable price he could. I would recommend Jamie for an estimate to replace an HVAC system.
I had a new HVAC system installed over the weekend. Brendan and Aiden did a great job and were super polite. They went above and beyond to ensure that they were thorough with the installation. They’re both kind, hardworking gentlemen. The only issue I have is with the company’s internal communication because the salesman Brett failed to get the pictures sent to the installation team so they entered into it blind.
UPDATE: There's always that moment when a good company makes a bad business decision and ruins the taste in your mouth. I dropped these guys from 5 to 1 star. Not even sure they deserve that when they try to rip off the elderly. I'm a 72-year-old Vietnam vet. I have a gas pack unit. On very rare occasion, the gas valve fails to open when I need heat. I can either leave it like that for three to four days before One Hour can get out here, or I can get the heat going myself. I used to have a journeyman's license in A/C and heating. Do I want to be outside working on my unit when the temps are in the teens. Not even close. I don't have the circulation I had in my younger days. Anyway, I called them and told them I wanted the gas valve replaced. They sent a tech out several days later, and he wanted $129 for a troubleshooting fee. I refused to pay it because it had been working fine since I got it working four nights earlier. He won't find anything wrong with it. You can't fix it if it isn't broke. He asked who said it was the gas valve, and I said me. So I told him as it goes through the start sequence, I have 25 VAC on the gas valve when the ignitor lights, but no gas. While the ignitor is firing, I tap the gas pipe going into the gas valve and the burners light. It's the gas valve. Plain and simple. We argued back and forth about the $129 troubleshooting fee when One hour should pay me the $129. I did the troubleshooting, not them, right? I'm not paying the fee. Just change the gas valve! So I asked what the total bill would be if he just did it, and it was $859!!!!! WHAT??? THAT'S TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A SITUATION WITH AN ELDERLY INDIVIDUAL!! It's winter time, and I need heat! I told him NO WAY!! I can't afford that!! So the tech asked me if the unit was still under warranty. I told him I don't know. I bought it from One Hour and they installed it. They should know if it's still under warranty or not. It's five years old. Then the tech tells me he can get the numbers off the unit and contact Goodman and see if it's still under warranty, but he'd have to charge me the $129 fee to do that. I told him to forget it! I'll call Goodman myself. So again, let me get this straight! One Hour sold and installed the unit, and now they want to charge me $129 to tell me if it is still under warranty?? I have other friends that have A/C businesses, and one buddy in Murfreesboro told me a new gas valve is around $49. Even without the troubleshooting fee, they tried to rip me off for $730 for a $49 gas valve and an hour labor. $859!! That's absolutely disgusting! So here I sit with the worse ice storms on their way clear across the country, and my gas valve still has not been replaced. I can't get down there on my knees. I'm having serious health issues at the present time. Have been for the past nearly two years. -------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Service technicians are always very cordial and knowledgeable. They are always on time and do excellent work. I have been with One Hour for over five years. They service my unit twice a year.
I wouldn’t recommend this company. For the many reasons listed in this post. Although this is kind of a longer story so I’ll summarize it quick with this intro. Don’t use this company unless you want to be over charged, want your HVAC unit to not be working after they show up for inspection. And not to be helped by the assist line in any way. There were a lot of issues that came up during their visit to fix the HVAC unit. (For context my unit worked alright before they got there, it was just slowing down and needed a quick repair) So when one of their team members was doing an inspection on the unit and took a piston out, the buildup of pressure from that caused the units refrigerant (coolant) to be emptied. Which isn’t ideal but that can happen in that scenario. However the problem arose when he didn’t replace the coolant he lost when he was done. So when he came back to me he told me I couldn’t run the indoor heating or cooling anymore (that was working before he got there) until I chose to do their repair that quoted me around $2,000. Because that price was astronomical for the issue I didn’t do their repair after the inspection. And he left me a unit without coolant that wouldn’t run heating and cooling anymore, even after I asked about it being refilled to where it was at. And he charged me $179 for showing up. So basically I was paying someone who emptied the refrigerant and caused my previously working HVAC to stop working. That’s not even the kicker of this long story. I called another company to look at the problem they came out for less than half the show up price that this company charges. They asked me why didn’t the previous guy refill the coolant where it was at and I said “that’s a good question”. They proceeded with the repair and fixed the problem. And that’s when they informed me that the issue didn’t even have to be fixed by taking out the piston in the first place, and that when the previous guy took out and caused the coolant to be emptied, it was a needless error. Also the new company charged me about half the price this company was charging for the issue. I also called this companies help line and they boiled down the issues to being “miscommunication” from the team members part, and wouldn’t give a refund. This company’s worker also never told me that there was a risk where he could lose the coolant, before he proceeded. While the other company told me the risks before proceeding. Anyways in summary I wouldn’t recommend this company, and I probably need to contact a regulatory agency now.
