Chase is the man! had an urgent plumbing emergency and Plumb Works sent Chase out to my house in an hour. He quickly fixed the issue and was friendly, professional, thorough, and upfront about the cost. As a new homeowner, I also really appreciated him taking the time to explain how everything worked. Highly recommend!
Andrew and the other plumbers did a wonderful job! After buying a new condo I wanted the water heater replaced, a new faucet, and a water filter installed. Andrew walked me through all the options that they could offer, and guided me on how to pick out a different kind of faucet that I decided I wanted from Home Depot. He was very thorough and informative, and tailored everything about the plan to exactly my preferences! They showed up early and got everything completed in less than six hours, even with very minimal info from me ahead of time about what all we were doing today! My little dog also loved everybody, and the team was very patient with my little dog wanting to come over and supervise and help. 😂🤦♀️ Many thanks to Andrew and the team!!!

Read before hiring. Don’t rely solely on Google reviews—be sure to read Yelp and other review sites as well. My experience was disappointing from the start. The technician seemed rushed, jumped from one issue to another without fully explaining anything, and never gave me a clear understanding of what he was seeing. After a quick walkthrough, he said he would return with a quote. When he presented the price, I simply asked what specific repairs were included—which I think is a reasonable question before approving several hours of labor. He told me the quote covered eight hours of licensed plumbers on-site but could not clearly explain exactly what would be repaired. He also said there could be additional charges depending on what they found, aside from a smoke test and venting a bathroom. I found it difficult to understand how an eight-hour estimate could be provided without being able to clearly describe the scope of work. When I asked for more detail, the conversation quickly became defensive. He accused me of questioning his knowledge as a plumber and told me, somewhat dismissively, that he was “not a handyman.” At that point, I told him I would be contacting the office and asked him to leave. His response was, “I don’t care. I’ve been working for them for 10 years. Go ahead.” I understand that quality plumbing work isn’t inexpensive, and I’m willing to pay for expertise. However, if you’re charging premium prices, customers should be able to expect a clear explanation of the work being performed, transparent pricing, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Surprisingly, one of the “owners” apologized for the employee’s behavior and did not charge me the $89 dispatch fee. I felt that deserved a star. - Desperate Customer
Jerome was the lead and he was fantastic! This was a major four-day job, replacing all of the cast-iron sewage pipes throughout our entire 1962 ranch home. After getting several different quotes, we chose them — and it was absolutely the right decision. and they handled it professionally from start to finish. They sent as many crew members as needed to keep the project moving efficiently, and every single person was knowledgeable, respectful, hardworking, and professional the entire time. Their communication and customer service were outstanding. They kept us informed every step of the way, answered questions clearly, and made a stressful project feel manageable. Their expertise really showed, and the quality of work gave us tremendous confidence. If you’re facing a big plumbing project, especially an older home with cast-iron pipes, we highly recommend them. We truly couldn’t be happier with our choice
Krum is the best! He came out for my home inspection during due diligence and came back out to provide the service. This was a full days of work with a partner. They moved my water shut off out of crawl space, reworked my pipes for crawl space access, reworked pipes of of a leaking sink with missing parts, and switched my water temp faucet things (because it’s hot on left and cold on right), and definitely more. (The hole was mistakenly patched up by a separate handy man, thus their removal.) AND Krum got my Dekalb plumbing certificate delivered to my email within a few hours. While I don’t know much about plumbing, I can see the new pipes have been installed sooo cleanly, very satisfying. I mostly appreciate their empathy and kindness, because I was kinda *losing my mind* this morning with the general cost of homeownership. 🤣
