Steve is very experienced and knowing the players in the court systems and other lawyers always helps. He explains things on your level and is a straight shooter. Weekly or even bi-weekly emails to update the client, even if there are no updates, would be my only suggestion for improvement of service. Even a status of "Still waiting on her attorney" or "Still waiting for a court date form the judge" would at least give a status to the client who is eagerly waiting for the end of their case.
I met with Mr. Tabano for a divorce consultation and was so grateful for how kind and patient he was. He explained everything clearly, was honest about the challenges, and even spent almost an hour with me without charging. What I appreciated most was that he never pressured me to hire him — he just said to keep him in mind if things get more complicated, especially with child custody. That sincerity really stood out, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy attorney.
