My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with sourdough bread for appetizer, lamb chops and short rib Gorgonzola pasta for our entree, and tiramisu for dessert. The appetizer and entrees were exceptional. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made our anniversary night special! The dessert left us sadly on a low note though..we love tiramisu and pretty much get it everywhere we go, but what we received lacked on presentation and taste. The great part of a tiramisu are the layers, but we received what looked like was two ice cream scoops of pudding. It just wasn’t it and was disappointing. God bless.
One of the best meals I've ever had from start to finish. I was happy to see the evolution of a couple items from Souk take their place on this menu where they have been perfected while also being an incredible Italian experience. Fusion done exactly right, and with every part of the menu having must-order dishes. The Iberico pork was stellar, the pastas were perfectly executed, and both the drinks and desserts seemed made in a lab to work on us.

Sabira is a phenomenal new addition to downtown Toledo’s dining scene; a true gem for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine served in an intimate, romantic setting. Our group of three visited for the first time and had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s decor sets the tone beautifully, with elegant crystal chandeliers, candlelight at each table, and a cozy ambiance that feels both sophisticated and inviting. We began our evening with the bread service, seared pork belly, lamb meatballs, and fritto misto. The pork belly was absolutely divine — rich, perfectly seared, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fritto misto was another standout, featuring high-quality seafood complemented by a tangy aioli with just the right touch of spice. The lamb meatballs offered a unique Mediterranean flair, though they were slightly overshadowed by the other exceptional starters. For our entrées, we enjoyed the chicken parmesan, pork cheek ravioli, and a 10 oz flat iron steak special served with Parmesan mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Each dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with clear attention to detail — from the tender, perfectly cooked meats to the balanced, house-made sauces. We ended the meal on a high note with the sticky date cake, a warm, comforting dessert that wrapped up our experience beautifully. When you’re in the mood for an intimate, flavorful, and authentic Italian meal, Sabira is a must-visit. It’s clear this restaurant is quickly becoming one of Toledo’s finest dining destinations.
Our group of five enjoyed a spectacular family-style dinner. We kicked things off with truly delicious appetizers: the Fritto Misto, Mussels, and the amazing Sourdough bread were perfect for sharing. For the main event, we shared the magnificent Tomahawk Steak (seriously, the best steak I have ever tasted!), the Chicken Parm, and the Branzino. Every single plate was wiped clean, a true testament to the exceptional quality. Highly, highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable meal!
If I were writing a dining guide I'd call it Trendy Toledo and definitely include Sabira among my top picks. My wife and I share calamari appetizers as a restaurant quality gauge and Sabira would be tied for 1st. My rack of lamb portion was huge and wonderful. My wife had a bean soup which she couldn't finish and a beet salad. I took home one third of my lamb dinner. Obviously we were stuffed so we didn't try desserts. We deciced to go without reservations until 20 minutes beforehand and were pleasantly surprised that we had the choice of a table in the entry area or bar seating. We chose bar seating and Brooks was a great and knowledgeable waiter and bartender.
