We were faced with a roof replacement during the winter months which made scheduling difficult. Jeff, Cayleb, Leaha, and Kelly stayed in continuous contact with us and were able to fit us in the day before a snowstorm hit. The team did an excellent job - arrived right on time, were complete by mid afternoon, we experienced minimal disruptions to our day, and our outdoor space was clean when they were finished. We love our new roof and shutters!
Summary: Jacob (Sales) 10/10, Roof 10/10, Siding 5/10. Communications with our insurance company 10/10. Communications during installation 3/10. We reached out to Storm Guard since we had a leak from our roof. Jacob came out and inspected the roof as well as gave us an estimate in an appropriate amount of time. He was wonderful in letting us know what his company offers a well as following up at appropriate times without putting any pressure. We had the choice of a temporary fix or replace the whole roof. We chose Storm Guard since they deal with the insurance company directly as much as they can and then there are some emails and calls that they will ask us to do since they can't represent us in those communications. So while we decided to go with the temporary fix, Storm Guard dealt with the insurance company. They got the insurance company to replace the whole roof and siding (which was also damaged by a storm). The roof was replaced in a decent time. No issues here. The siding took time to get the parts. After that a team came out to install the siding on a Friday. They left a bunch of trash (food and drinks) over the weekend when it was really hot, so it attracted a lot of bugs. There was no communication on if they were done or if they still needed to complete some other tasks. I had to reach out to the Jacob who connected me the with the manager that sends teams out to the field. The manager apologized and gave us a $250 credit. The team came back and cleaned up. During inspection, there was caulking not properly put on/missed, our signs were not placed back in the correct positions. We had three rounds of going back and forth of point things out to Jacob, and then pointing things out to the manager and after the third round where there is still missing caulking, I just gave up because I wanted to be done with this. Also, the communication for when someone would come to fix these minor issues and when they actually came was never accurate, they would say they’d come on one day and then come the next or even the week after, unannounced. Pictures are added to this review. Less than 6 months after the siding was installed, a couple pieces came off due to wind. I called and they had someone come the next day to put the pieces back up. For the payment side, since the roof and siding were on separate invoices due to when insurance approved them, there was a bit of a mix up. However, everyone in that company that I spoke to in billing as well as Jacob were nice about any miscommunications. It took some extra attention and re-explaining, but everything got solved in the end and I have no complaints.

Caleb and Travis from StormGuard did an excellent job fixing a broken gutter and downspout at my home. They took the time to explain what they were going to do before starting, which I really appreciated. Both were incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The repair was done efficiently and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would definitely recommend StormGuard—especially Caleb and Travis—to anyone needing gutter work.
Gavin, Kelly, Jeff, and Caleb were fantastic getting the work done a communication with us throughout the entire process. Along with working with our insurance adjuster through the claim process and finishing the project. I highly recommend this company for home repairs!
One Final Update - Storm Guard tried to replace my broken items and failed to do so, several attempts to purchase, 1st failed was cancelled somehow and second wasn't the correct one, then I didn't hear anything at all once again for a couple of weeks so I resolved to buy and pay for a whole other company to come out and fix what they broke. They tried, they failed, I am done. Update - I am updating my review the GM Jeff reached out to me and my husband, came to our home, inspected the situation and is making it right. He has communicated openly, expressed his concerns, apologized for the issues and is actively correcting the problem himself which impresses me as a consumer. Thank you Jeff for going above and beyond to make me a happy customer. Initially I was excited and ready to work with Storm Guard on my garage project and siding and installing new gutters. I explained to the sales man my previous experience with another company and how bad it was and he acted as if he understood. On the day of installation, the installers were 2 hours late with no communication until I called/texted the salesperson. I asked for them to install a camara where the light was, they said they would and then they didn't, in addition my other camara is no longer working that they removed and put backup that was working perfectly prior. Then when the painters showed up to paint, no call, no verified appointment they just appeared as well as the gutter installers no call, no verified appointment. I've called, I've texted my salesman, I've asked for a fix and I am getting nothing in return. Not a happy customer at all. The siding is nice the customer service and communication have been absolutely horrid.
