We had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly planned. We made a reservation and were seated right on time, which immediately set a great tone for the evening. We were seated outside, and the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing, we had a clear view of the entire sunset, and it made the whole dinner feel extra special and romantic. Our waitress was fantastic: nice, attentive, and very professional. She checked on us consistently without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. In fact, the entire staff was kind and always welcoming us with a smile, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. For our appetizer, we ordered the sushi crab bake, and it was a delicious start, flavorful and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, we had the Chilean Salmon and the American Wagyu short rib. Both dishes were outstanding. The salmon was cooked beautifully, tender and rich, while the Wagyu short rib was incredibly flavorful and melted in our mouths. The prices are a little on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food, the service, the warm hospitality, and especially the breathtaking sunset view, it was absolutely worth it. We would definitely come back for another special evening!
This place is fantastic. It's sophisticated, elevated, and yet it still felt approachable and welcoming. Our server, Nikki, was super attentive, personable, and funny. All of her suggestions and menu favorites were incredible. Tuna poke nachos, wagyu carpaccio, short rib steam buns, and rock shrimp. The nachos were the best, believe it or not. This was also the top 3 best old fashioned drinks I've ever had, smoked tableside too. Don't sleep on their specialty sushi creations either. If I'm ever back in Charlotte, I will return.

"EXTRAORDINARILY SATISFYING!" On Saturday, February 14, 2026, I dined at Fahrenheit Restaurant, and extremely upscale restaurant in Charlotte, NC, with a guest. (Fahrenheit is actually located on the 21st floor of Hyatt Place (a.k.a.: the Skye Building).) I was very, VERY impressed with the restaurant. It's decor, the atmosphere, the views, the music, and of course, the food were great. Also, our waitress was very good, knowledgeable, and attentive. For drinks, we decided to try the: ● Uptown Pear ● Honey Crisp Crush ● Water As an appetizer, we choose ● Edamame For my entrée, I choose the ● Slow Braised American Waygu Short Ribs, ... and my guest selected the ● Baked Chilean Sea Bass Finally, for dessert, we choose the ● Expresso Cheesecake Everything about our visit was top notch, but of particular note was my entrée. I was EXTREMELY pleased with my choice of entrée. The short ribs were expertly prepared, so very, VERY tender, and "melt-in-your-mouth" delicious! 😋 They were expertly paired with lo mein noodles in a light, wonderfully seasoned sauce. All in all, it was an extraordinarily satisfying culinary experience. So, compliments to the chef, our waitress, and ENTIRE team at Fahrenheit Restaurant in Charlotte, NC, for an INDESCRIBABLY AWESOME dining experience. Bravo! 👏 👍 👍 G. Curtis Tuesday February 24, 2026
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fahrenheit restaurant following the NFL playoff game in Charlotte. This establishment, located on the rooftop of a hotel, offers a distinctive ambiance that is both elegant and welcoming. Upon entry, the signage reflects its upscale nature; however, post-game, the atmosphere relaxed, allowing patrons who presented themselves well to enjoy the experience. Our server, Noah F., was exceptional. He was not only attentive but also candid about the menu offerings, recommending dishes that were both popular and ones to consider approaching with caution. His service was prompt and professional, enhancing our dining experience significantly. I opted for the Waygnu short rib, which was expertly prepared—tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed an exquisite Japanese bread accompanied by mitsu butter, which was a delightful complimentary treat. The dynamite shrimp we ordered was another highlight, though I must admit that my appetite was piqued after a long day of events. The views from the rooftop are spectacular, showcasing the Charlotte skyline beautifully. The ambiance was particularly enjoyable in the cool evening air, especially when seated near the fire on the balcony. The bar area is beautifully designed, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. While I noticed some comments regarding service and food quality, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. It is important to note that Fahrenheit is on the pricier side, but given the quality and experience provided, it is certainly worth the investment. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Charlotte.
We visited Fahrenheit for our first dinner in Charlotte. Our server, Kevin, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, though his newness showed (it was only his fourth day), with a few minor service hiccups like dropped items and a mistaken dessert order. He has great potential and will undoubtedly become an excellent server with more experience. The food, however, was absolutely phenomenal. It's a fantastic spot for small plates and sushi. We sampled an array of dishes: the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Ahi Poke Nachos, and Lobster Dumplings to start. For sushi, we loved the CEO Roll, Gold Standard, and Queen City Sunset. Our main course, the Pancetta Spring Pea Fettuccine, was also outstanding. A memorable culinary introduction to the city.
