Wonderful stay. The check in was seamless, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is right next to the buses and trains and the vibrant Chinatown. Ideal for walking around Downtown Seattle. The facilities were good and bathrooms are clean. I enjoyed the breakfast and the common areas. They do plan for activities to do and this is a great way to meet other travelers. Highly recommended for solo travelers
Seriously great location, staff was nice but the property was grimy. Not the housekeeping had a bad week kind, but like it needs a deep clean. It is not unusual for us stay in private rooms in hostels. Locations are usually excellent, lots of good energy in the public areas etc. This is the first time I have ever had concerns about cleanliness. If it is of concern then you might want to book another property. Also our private room was very very tight. It is an older building that has been rehabbed into a hostel but whoever planned it could have done a better job.

Came in on the train, so location is very convenient. Yes, the area can be a little sketchy, but that's pretty much any city and the tradeoff for more inexpensive lodging. And also plenty of good food around, including some of the best Thai I've had. Easy walk over to Pike Market. Building itself is clean enough though definitely "historic," 20s-30s by way of the 70s-80s. The rooms are small and incredibly stuffy: I took a shower in the early afternoon, hung my towel in my room, and it was still damp the next morning. (Towels are free though.) Luckily I only had 1 roommate but couldn't imagine sharing with 2 more guys, especially in the summer. Bare bones beds: no curtains, not even a little shelf, just a gooseneck lamp and tiny fan (that didn't work). Bathrooms were clean, definitely recommend the single, especially for showers, as the "big" bathroom (2 toilets, 2 urinals, 2 showers) offers no privacy. Kitchen seemed nice enough, big laundry room (2.50 each), decent lounge although didn't really see many people in it, let alone socializing. All in all, decent place to crash on a budget.
Pretty decent hostel with very friendly staff, large lockers, large kitchen and washing rooms too. They had a fair amount of social events going on while I was there. When I had to contact them before my stay to modify my booking they responded quite quickly too.
Having never stayed in a hostel before, I can say I was pleasantly surprised and am quite happy that this was my first experience. The rooms were clean, they offered secure storage for luggage in the rooms, there are a a large kitchen facility and friendly and helpful staff! It’s located in the International District and literally across the street from the light rail green.
