I had an amazing experience at Tru by Hilton Midtown, and it was all thanks to Jonathan. From the moment I arrived, he was professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure everything about my stay was smooth and comfortable. He answered every question with patience, handled requests quickly, and made me feel like more than just another guest passing through. His attention to detail and willingness to help truly stood out. What impressed me most was his positive attitude no matter how busy things were, he remained calm, kind, and solution-oriented. It’s rare to encounter someone who takes so much pride in their work and treats guests with such care and respect. Jonathan is a true asset to the Tru by Hilton Midtown team. Because of him, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this location to anyone looking for outstanding customer service. Thank you, Jonathan, for making my stay exceptional!
I recently stayed here while in town to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks game with my brother and my son, and unfortunately our experience was terrible. When we got back from the game late at night, our room key would not work. We went downstairs and no one was at the front desk for about 20 minutes. When someone finally showed up (I believe his name was John), he tried for almost an hour to get our door open and was unsuccessful. He had to call multiple people for help, and in the end, we still couldn’t get into our room. They gave us another room for the night, but all of our belongings were locked inside the original room. That was extremely inconvenient and frustrating after a long night. We were told maintenance would fix it at 7:30 AM, but no one notified us when the room was ready. I had to go downstairs myself to ask for an update before we were finally able to retrieve our belongings. Because of this situation, I had to miss work. I asked for a refund or at least a discount due to the horrible experience. I was told I had to wait for management at 10 AM, but I couldn’t because I had to leave for work. They took my number and said they would call me when management arrived — and no one ever did. Very disappointing experience. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We absolutely LOVE the Tru by Hilton hotels. Between the fact that not only have we stayed in multiple locations but literally completely different states and yet they're always so clean, safe parling lots, secured entrance at night that requires your room key to get into the main entrance for security purposes. They have a way better breakfast options than majority of hotels that serve hot/cold meals. The amenities are so nice, clean, and updated as well. They're definitely worth the price and I recommend this hotel chain over just about any other one ive ever stayed at.
Stayed here for a concert at Rocket Arena in September. Quick drive to the arena (minus crazy traffic due to a game AND concert at the same time). Room was clean, had no issues, was nothing fancy, and hanging out by the fire pit was nice afterwards. For a one night stay for a good price I'd definitely stay here again!
The hotel was great for what we needed. We had to move rooms bc the fridge didn’t work in the first one. The rooms were clean and good for the price. The breakfast was decent. We loved the fire pit at night. The lobby had some cool chill areas. Staff was nice! No thrills but clean and a good value.
