This carefully maintained house serves as a great museum. Benjamin Harrison might not be one of the better remembered US Presidents, but it was fascinating to learn about him and his family. The house is large and impressive, and they’ve meticulously tried to keep it looking as it would have in the 1800s. Each room has a lot to take in, and it was obviously a very different time. The tour is a very educational experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in history.
Great place to visit if you love American history! Place is beautifully preserved; tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional; worth the time;
Easily one of the highlights of my trip to Indianapolis. I learned a lot about how the Harrison family lived and the efforts madr by his niece who also became his wife, to preserve this history. I was able to join a tour that was just starting as I walked up. But if that hadn't happened, I may have been delayed on my journey. For this reason I might suggest getting a ticket in advance.

This 10,000 Sw ft home was built in 1874 yet it’s been very well maintained and most of the furnishings were his actual possessions including the bed where even his child was born and where he eventually died.
The private tour was great! What’s even better is the fact that so many items in the house actually belonged to former president Harrison! It helps you to really step back in time! Our guide Gary was great with knowledge on everything! Would definitely recommend checking this out!
