PFD is the best dentist I've ever been to. They combine systems thinking efficiency (space organization and time management design) in a way that allows for as few transitions as possible for the staff increasing the time spent on care and decreasing the time spent transitioning. They use sensible and new tools of dentistry that are effective and thoughtful from lip guards to fancy floss, but they clearly use what's old and works when it's not worth the markup. There's no pretension in Dr. Agee and he's kind and efficient. The gals at the desk are helpful and thoughtful and bought my son a Christmas present when they found out he liked the same books their kid liked. I love that they text and can receive tests to schedule and discuss care and bills, I don't have to navigate email or phone calls to deal with my business with them. The hygienists are great with adults and kids. Just a wonderful place!
Great staff, very professional. If you need a dentist Dr. Agee should be at the top of your list. Knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain your options. I’m 79 years old ( I’ve seen a lot of dentists) and Dr. Agee is the best dentist I have seen. The bonus, he does great work.

The staff are very friendly and professional; the quality of care from Dr Agee and his team is excellent. I’ve had a couple dental emergencies over the years and they have treated me quickly, which has been greatly appreciated. Dr Agee’s work with gold is top notch!

I genuinely look forward to going to the dentist now, both because I know my teeth and gums will get stellar care but also because I look forward to seeing and talking with each wonderful, skilled employee at Portland Family Dentistry. This practice prioritizes communication and comfort — even and especially on busy days or during shorter appointments or for unexpected issues. Sitting in the waiting room you see the kindness and respect that patients are treated with at all stages of their visits, and you can expect that same standard of treatment when you’re in the dental chair.
