There are many positives to share about this company. The scheduling was fast and easy, and someone actually picked up the phone when I called. A texted link showed the live location of the technician, who arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous, and explained everything clearly. Why not 5 stars then? Well, the issue I had was I needed my water heater pilot relit, and he asked for authorization for a $268 diagnostic fee. I assumed the problem would be complicated, so I agreed. I know that is 100% on me, which is why this is still an overall positive review. Once I signed he lit the pilot in less than 2 minutes, doing what I would've done. I won't go into the details but I hired a professional due to the circumstances rather than trying it myself first. I understand that there are minimum trip charges when scheduling service, and often you're paying for the expertise in knowing how to resolve a problem, not necessarily the physical effort in doing it. Even given all that, the amount feels excessive to agree to upfront. If it were a third or even half the amount I would have felt it was fair, even for a minor issue. I understand that's my opinion, and in the future I would still reach out to bluefrog for plumbing needs, but I would absolutely definitely get an estimate or quote before scheduling an appointment.
My technician, Alton was the best! We did the yearly membership which saved us hundreds when we found out a previous owner poorly repiped the house. They did two major digs to identify/fix the improper routing and install a sewer main drain and had us back up and running in under 2 days. When I saw the mess the previous plumbers made, I was horrified. Alton got us squared away with the best option that wouldn’t require us to completely redo the pipes when we just purchased a new home. We were also able to finance the required work at no money down and 0% APR for 12 months. Working with Bluefrog has been a much needed break from the stress we have been going through.

I had a plumbing emergency and Blue frog sent Russell and he handled it so professionally and in the most cost-effective way. We had to shut off the water to our house and had no water because it was late in the evening, but he made us a priority and came back first thing in the morning with the part and got everything resolved. Russell did an outstanding job and his work was very thorough and professional.
I had a plumbing emergency with my bathroom tub and Bluefrog was able to work with me and have someone there within the hour. CJ was very knowledgeable and helpful! He was able to fix our issue and provided us with a great deal. Would definitely use them again!
I called Blue Frog to replace a garbage disposal and check my water heater for any maintenance that might be needed. They were able to schedule a 2 hour appointment window for an hour later. CJ arrived at the beginning of the appointment time, and quickly confirmed the disposal needed to be replaced. He also did a check on my water heater confirming it was in good shape. CJ was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly, and even with the need to go buy a replacement disposal for my needs, the new disposal was in place way sooner than I expected. So no issues, no complaints, I'm very happy with the service.
