I'm new to the west side, so like many others I found this place by reviews online in my local area. And I feel fortunate for putting trust in this specific shop. I typically do most of my own work, but when stranded the middle of the work week, these guys got me back up and running, no annoying pushy sales for additional unnecessary work. Very fairly priced, and I honestly believe they are genuinely trustworthy. One of the first times I've gone to an auto shop and not felt like someone was trying to pull one over on me. Excellent experience, I'm glad guys are in business!
Extremely disappointing experience at Jim’s Auto Clinic. I originally brought my car in for a catalytic converter fault code. I specifically asked if they could replace the catalytic converter, but instead, they repaired an exhaust leak—charging me $800. A week later, the same code came back. I was told to bring the car back, and this time they ran a diagnostic using software that cost me another $500. I was instructed to drive 200 miles, and if the code returned, they would replace the catalytic converter. After the 200 miles, the code came back—but instead of replacing the converter, they changed a coil pack (without even calling me for approval), charging another $500 for a repair that’s simple and inexpensive (part costs around $150 and takes minutes to install). After all this, the same original code for the catalytic converter returned—for the fourth time. The issue I brought the vehicle in for still hasn’t been resolved, and I’ve now spent more on repairs than the car is worth. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income, this has been both financially and emotionally exhausting. I would strongly advise others not to take their vehicle here for repairs. After giving Jim’s Auto Clinic one last chance, I dropped my car off for repairs. When Steve called back, he was very unfriendly and refused to work on the vehicle, stating it was because I had previously left a bad review. I explained that I was still experiencing the same issues and specifically mentioned that the turbo oil return line was damaged and leaking oil. Steve dismissed this, saying it could be leaking from anywhere. I then took the vehicle to another reputable shop. They confirmed that the catalytic converter was indeed bad and also found that the turbo oil return line had been damaged during the previous installation done by Jim’s Auto Clinic. It appears this shop only responds to positive reviews and has no interest in resolving issues they cause or diagnosing problems correctly without repeatedly charging more money. As a result, I now have to pay another shop to fix what Jim’s Auto Clinic failed to properly diagnose or repair. I would advise caution before bringing your vehicle here.

Jim's Auto Clinic is one of the best car repairs around. They are friendly, responsive and does high quality work. They stand behind all their work. Offer quotes on work and get the work completed timely. Highly Recommend Jim's!!!👍🏼😊
Overpriced. Brandon did my diagnostic for my 03 Solara. I thought it was a plug issue or a fuel issue and he found the plugs were bad but he didnt put any of the bolts back, he didn't clean out his mess from the car, and had the nerve to charge me nearly 200 bucks for a diagnosis that took him less than an hour and half. You're telling me you're paying these guys almost a 100 an hour and they can't put bolts back? Insane.
Will be making this place my go-to, the care and professionalism is unmet. From the initial phone call to book an appointment to checking in after pickup. Reasonable price& quick, efficient service!
