100% 5 stars! The butterfly exhibit is just amazing and wonderful! The amount of plants and gardens is extraordinary. This is a must stop for anyone who likes plants, flowers, butterflies! It was a great time at a great place for a great price. We would definitely come back here again to experience this wonderful place.
I've been coming to the conservatory since I was a kid. When my kids were younger, I took them quite often. I now live far away, but it was a must visit while I was in town recently. It is so relaxing and pleasant to walk through and just enjoy being around all the beautiful plants. I felt so inspired being among the beauty. I took tons of photos and I'm hoping to find some of the lovely plants I saw and incorporate them into my own home garden. My only suggestion is that having a gift shop again would be an amazing addition. Selling seeds, seedlings, offshoots, and cuttings of some of the gorgeous plants from the conservatory would be an excellent way to give people the opportunity to bring a little of the joy of the conservatory home with them.

Walking into Krohn Conservatory’s butterfly exhibit felt like stepping through a hidden jungle portal in the middle of Cincinnati. Everywhere you looked, brilliant butterflies drifted through the air like living flower petals, landing on blooms, leaves, and sometimes even lucky visitors. The entire exhibit was warm, vibrant, and incredibly peaceful. The “Destination Monarch” theme was beautifully done, blending education with genuine wonder. The lush tropical plants, colorful flowers, waterfalls, and carefully designed pathways made it feel immersive without being overwhelming. It was especially fun watching children completely freeze in amazement whenever a butterfly landed nearby. What really stood out was how calming the experience felt. For an hour or two, the outside world just dissolved into greenery, sunlight, and fluttering wings. The staff and volunteers also did a wonderful job keeping everything organized and helping guests protect the butterflies while still enjoying close-up encounters. Krohn Conservatory continues to be one of Cincinnati’s hidden gems, and the butterfly show is absolutely worth visiting each year. Bring your camera, take your time, and prepare to leave smiling.
Fabulous butterfly room! Gorgeous conservatory with many separate climates and themes - very well maintained. Wonder Park with many garden and river overlooks Sadly, park needs cleanup - lots of overflowing trash bins and blowing trash.
Such a beautiful conservatory. Diverse array of plants from almost every place on Earth. Loved the butterfly emporium - full of colorful butterflies that will frequently land on you to say hi! Located in/near Eden Park - a destination in and of itself - you’ll want to stop here. Definitely worth a visit.
