I recently had gastric sleeve surgery at Denver Health Medical Center, and I truly cannot thank the bariatric team enough for the amazing care I received. From the very beginning, everything went smoothly, and I always felt supported and cared for throughout the process. A special thank you to Vince at the front desk for helping me schedule all my appointments and making everything so easy and organized. Thank you to Michelle Darr, my nutritionist, for being so patient, informative, and encouraging during this journey. I am also incredibly grateful to Dr. Alexander Morton, my surgeon, and Emily Zeszutek,for their professionalism, skill, and compassionate care. Thank you as well to David Champlin, the bariatric coordinator, for all his support and guidance. I know I am forgetting many wonderful people who helped me along the way, but I want the entire team to know how much I appreciate everything they did for me. Every nurse, assistant, coordinator, and staff member made me feel safe, respected, and cared for during such an important moment in my life. Thank you, Denver Health, for changing my life and making this experience such a positive one!
I am writing to express concern about the treatment my family received during my brother's hospitalization at Denver Health. Yesterday, we encountered a nurse who was not only dismissive and rude but also openly expressed her dissatisfaction with her job in front of colleagues and a student. This unprofessional behavior was particularly unsettling, given our vulnerable position as family members of a patient. I am worried about the impact this may have on the student's training and the overall care provided by the hospital.

The Denver Health Eye Clinic has been taking care of my vision for many years - every year I go for a diabetic eye exam. They are very efficient - I got to my appointment early but was seen right away by Denise, who did the preliminary checks on my vision and made the appointment fun. Dr. Bise was thorough, concerned, and very professional. You can also get glasses there, and they have a good selection that is very affordable.
I went to this hospital after not going for years because the contribute to people's death!! Huge abses tooth !! Well they needed to start an iv on me to draw blood . . Not only did I wait 3 hours to be called back but they sent in a little boy who looked to be at least just turning 18 yo draw my blood!!! Needless to say he messed my arm up by missing the vein 3 times!!! Swollen arm immediately!! So the head doctor comes in...ACTS SYMPATHETIC and asked me so to speak ...can the bruise up my other arm!!! I SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT!! so because I would not allow them to put 3 more holes on my other arm ... the doctor then lied and said he couldn't send me home with any pain meds!! I still ay this point have my mouth swollen big from my abses tooth now arm is bruised and swollen from yall missing my vein 3 times!!! I started recording at this point and the doctor said im leaving the room if you are going to record me saying I cant give yoi anything for pain !!! I would post his pictures if I could ... please stay away from 4his hospital if you want to live !!!! I had to contact a lawyer for this situation and Needless to say I went elsewhere and was treated great with real professional doctors!!!! DO BE SUPRISED IF YOU DONT MAKE IT OUT THIS HOSPITAL ALIVE!!
Had a appointment at the spine center at 1pm and never coming back the rest of the staff were nice but the doc i had was just completely rude and rushed my whole visit, doctors are supposed to feel comfortable to be around but it literally felt like I was a nuisance wasting his time. I got there really early wasnt busy and heard him having a whole personal conversation making me wait for 25 minutes to talk to him just to be rushed so he can go back to his conversation and to eat his salad so It kinda seemed like the rudeness was personal idk but definitely felt a vibe that it was for a reason. Never had a bad experience with denver health until today so so it was just disappointing.
