Had a great experience here for date night. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and comfortable, making it a good choice whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a quality dinner out. The presentation of the food was impressive without feeling overdone, and each dish was packed with flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was easily the standout of the meal. The house bread was also excellent and worth ordering. We also tried the Cajun fettuccine, which had great depth of flavor and a creamy sauce without being overly spicy. Service was another highlight. Ashley was attentive, friendly, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. She helped create a welcoming dining experience from start to finish. Overall, this is a spot I’d happily return to and recommend to anyone looking for good food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere.
I stopped by less than an hour before closing for a quick bite and ended up having a lovely experience. The service set the tone immediately. Our server never made us feel rushed, took time to walk us through the menu, and encouraged us to order at our own pace. The restaurant itself is adorable. The design feels French-inspired—elegant and artistic without being stuffy. There was something interesting to look at in every corner, from the decor and table settings to the ceiling itself. For food, we started with the amuse-bouche offerings. I was expecting a traditional one-bite taste, but these were more like full appetizers, with three pieces per order. The mushroom arancini was crispy and flavorful, the oysters were a perfect bite, and the crawfish pimento toast was a standout. The crawfish and pimento cheese were both distinctly present, with neither overpowering the other, and the buttery toast tied everything together beautifully. We also ordered the steak tartare, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with its accompaniments. Between the thoughtful service, beautiful space, and delicious food, this was an easy win. The entire staff was warm, courteous, and genuinely delightful. I’ll definitely be back.

Listen. Do yourself a favor and just go. The vibe is actually comparable to a cute French bistro (don’t forget to look up at the ceiling!). The staff is friendly (though I found that service was often slow) and knowledgeable about the menu if you have questions. If you need substitutions, they are flexible. The drinks were absolutely delicious. The bartenders were top notch. The food is what kept me coming back every morning for breakfast. Excellent. Truly excellent for a hotel restaurant! The avocado toast (avocado tartine) was easily my favorite breakfast item. I’ve never had toast like that before and I plan to copy the recipe at home! If you can handle spice then try the gumbo. If you like sandwiches, then the garden pesto is not to be missed. Don’t skip the risotto or overlook the little frenchy salad, either! Lastly, the croissants are 10/10. Trust me - you’ll love it all!
0/5 Stars – One of the Worst Dining Experiences I’ve Had in Dallas I made reservations for Sunday brunch at Little Daisy expecting a quality experience befitting a restaurant inside the Thompson Hotel. Instead, it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. To their credit, we were seated promptly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. I ordered a Bloody Mary that tasted almost entirely of olive brine. It was overwhelmingly salty, completely unbalanced, and one of the worst Bloody Marys I’ve ever been served. To start, my wife and I shared the miso banana bread because it sounded unique and promising. What arrived looked and tasted like a mass-produced loaf that had simply been drizzled with icing. We each took one bite and pushed it aside. Based on our server’s recommendation, I ordered the frittata. It arrived flat, dry, and noticeably overcooked. I asked for hot sauce, but it never came. While waiting, I watched our server standing at the bar chatting instead of checking on our table. My wife ordered the Creole Shakshuka Skillet. She took one bite and immediately decided she couldn’t eat it. It simply wasn’t enjoyable. At that point, we had barely touched our meals. When the server returned, we asked for the check. Not once were we asked why two nearly untouched entrées and an untouched appetizer were sitting on the table. There was no attempt to make things right, no curiosity, and no concern. We quietly paid our bill and left. Poor food can sometimes be redeemed by attentive service. Poor service can sometimes be forgiven if the food is exceptional. Little Daisy managed to fail at both. Given the quality of the food, the lack of attentiveness, and the complete indifference shown when two customers left nearly an entire meal uneaten, I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. We won’t be returning.
Ryan was our server and was amazing! I got the Amish chicken, and my boyfriend got the short rib ragu. Ryan was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service really stood out and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Ryan again. Highly recommend!
