I cannot say enough great things about this company! From the moment we called, everyone was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure our AC issue was taken care of quickly. A special thank you goes to Brandon Valdez, who went absolutely above and beyond. Brandon was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of our questions, and made sure the job was done right the first time. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their work and truly puts the customer first. His professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a stressful experience into an exceptional one. You can tell Brandon genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of his work. If you’re looking for an HVAC company you can trust, this is the one. I highly recommend them, and if you’re lucky enough to have Brandon Valdez as your technician, you’re in the best hands possible. Thank you for going above and beyond—we truly appreciate everything you did
Darrel was fantastic from start to finish. He was honest, straightforward, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. When an issue came up, he didn't make excuses he owned it, made it right, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was working properly before he left. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about doing the job right and making sure the customer is taken care of. I really appreciated his professionalism, communication, and extra effort throughout the whole experience. I'd gladly recommend Darrel to anyone looking for quality HVAC service. Thanks again!

Darrel came out to provide a second opinion on our AC system, and I am so grateful for his help. He was kind, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything he found. He showed me pictures of the issues and walked me through the details in a way that was easy to understand. I especially appreciated that he was able to help us on such short notice. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to answer questions gave us peace of mind during a stressful situation. I highly recommend Darrel and appreciate the excellent service he provided.
I normally try to give companies the benefit of the doubt and address concerns privately first, but I want other homeowners to understand what they may be signing up for with the Peak Performance Plan at Island Breeze AC & Heating. My experience in September when I joined the Performance Plan for both my home and a rental home that we own. The first services/tune-ups were okay, nothing stellar. They were able to identify a few things needing repairs, able to tell me things that were wrong, and what needed to be fixed. The cost to fix was a bit more than I would have preferred, but I did not have much choice, as it needed to be fixed. Things started to go downhill with a thermostat wiring issue this winter that cost about $250. When I talked to the owner, he told me the amount of work that went into it justified the cost; however, another HVAC company handled the same thing for free during a tune-up at another home. During that save visit, it was also discovered that our 2-stage unit had actually been wired as a single-stage system, despite being inspected by the same company only a few months earlier, without this being identified. I was then quoted around $300 to rewire it and another $300 to program the thermostat for a 2-stage unit (personally believe this is part of setting it up as a 2-stage unit). To the owner’s credit, after discussing my concerns, he did reduce the pricing to what I felt was more reasonable. However, what ultimately pushed me to leave this review was the value I received from the maintenance/tune-up plan itself. The “tune-ups” mainly consisted of videos of the technician wiping a white cloth on vents, blower components, and coils to show that things were dusty/dirty (we live in Phoenix — of course there is dust). Beyond repeatedly being told the system was “dirty” and being encouraged to purchase additional cleaning services, I received almost no meaningful education about the actual condition or performance of my heat pumps/AC systems. I still could not tell you: actual system readings, refrigerant status, capacitor measurements, temperature split, whether anything was performing well or poorly, what was inspected beyond “it’s dirty.” The overall experience felt much more sales-focused than maintenance-focused. I completely understand that systems sometimes need additional cleaning or repairs, but I expected a tune-up to provide meaningful preventative maintenance, inspection feedback, and education — not primarily upsells tied to dust buildup. I’m sharing this so other homeowners better understand what they are getting when signing up for the maintenance plan.
Requested for a quote from the BBB and Allie called me the very next day and was able to schedule a tune up for a day that fit my schedule. Was told over the phone that a tune up would cost $39.95. I asked if there are any other fees and was told “no”. Received a call and a text from the tech the day of that he will be arriving in 40 minutes, which I appreciated. Isaac arrived right on time and was very respectful from the beginning. He checked all components of the unit and was very informative. Once he was done and it was time to pay, he told me it would only be $120 today for the trip charge. I was taken aback when I first heard the amount, but being that I needed to leave for work, I went ahead and paid it. So yeah wish I was informed of a “trip charge” while I was making the appointment, so at least I will not be surprised when it came time to pay. Mind you, my unit is only 3-4 years old and I was told from the tech that it was very clean and in good condition so it’s hard for me to really justify a $120 charge. They ask for your address in the beginning so I would think they would know if there would be a trip charge. Would've rated lower, but Isaac was really nice, informative and respectful.
