I’ve been going here for a very long time, honestly a very nice place to walk around with some friends and just have a good time and enjoy the weather. The pier has greatly improved over the years and now is a safe place to enjoy some time.

Pier 55 is one of those spots that’s touristy in the best way—classic, scenic, and filled with little surprises. A perfect stop to soak up some Seattle charm. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’re truly experiencing the soul of the city—laid-back, salty-aired, and full of life. Around the pier, the waterfront has a fun, slightly nostalgic boardwalk feel with plenty to explore.
A fun way to spend your day with great activities, food, and atmosphere. Lots of things to do here within walking distance. Only caution is the hills are steep and can be a bit much for some to go to the attractions up near 2nd Ave. There are elevators available for most of the major tourist spots. Tons of transit options available!
