Great room, great location, great service! We only stayed one night in a studio suite at the Level Chicago - Fulton Market, but the staff knew my name, and were so kind and accommodating! Our son's apartment is in the same building - that made the visit so convenient. They are super pet-friendly with an adjacent dog park. We were able to bring our dog, so that was perfect! The suite was spotless; I loved the layout. It was cold so we didn't take advantage of the balcony, but just having one is a big plus. Special shout out to Parker - she took such good care of us =)
The rooms are absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the service was horrible and completely unprofessional. There was a serious issue where another guest was checked into our room, even though we had already been there since 2:00 PM. This alone shows a major breakdown in communication and organization. While a female staff member was actively handling the situation, Tyler (dreads) who stated he was not even on the clock, inserted himself into the issue without knowing the background. Instead of helping, his involvement escalated things. It was also extremely inappropriate that there was discussion about having Tyler check on a room full of younger women, followed by disrespectful comments made toward one of the younger women. That behavior was uncomfortable and unacceptable. Overall, the concierge team does not seem coordinated at all, and several staff members came across as disrespectful and unprofessional. This experience completely overshadowed how nice the rooms are. A property like this needs much better staff training, communication, and accountability. They should be lucky I can’t post the video on here.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Level Chicago – Fulton Market and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. On December 20, 2025 around 6:00 PM, the two gentlemen working the front desk were absolutely terrible—rude, unhelpful, and completely unaccommodating. We informed the hotel ahead of time that we were hosting a small, supervised slumber party for nine girls under the age of 12, all accompanied by their parents. Despite this, one staff member (wearing a green shirt and black pants) was extremely combative and repeatedly questioned us about the number of people in our room instead of offering solutions. When we asked for accommodations or support, he offered nothing. Meanwhile, another party of approximately 20 people arrived and was allowed upstairs without issue. There were also people in the lobby who were drunk, loud, and obnoxious, and on the same floor as our room there were guests yelling and screaming in the hallways, clearly exceeding room capacities—yet no one questioned or addressed them. The selective enforcement was obvious and unfair. When we asked if another room was available, we were charged $800 for one night, which is absolutely insane. The next morning, however, the woman at the front desk was a prime example of a great employee. She was kind, understanding, and professional. She explained the options and amenities that could have supported our slumber party, and even told us that the staff member from the night before could have offered us a better room but chose not to. She also provided us with the General Manager’s card, and we will be reaching out, as we strongly feel we were overcharged, profiled, and treated unfairly. It is confusing and upsetting that nine supervised little girls celebrating a birthday were treated like a problem, while loud, disruptive adults were ignored. This hotel claims to prioritize security, but their actions did not reflect that at all. This experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and disappointing. Poor customer service, inconsistent enforcement of policies, and excessive charges made this stay unacceptable. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.
Parker was amazing and walked me through everything and gave me some amazing tips to enjoy my stay. She definitely goes above and beyond!
This is the sketchiest place to book your stay. Their prices are not upfront, you go through a screening process including a selfie, copy of your license or passport and a credit card. How that information is stored is beyond me. But needing to go through that is a red flag 🚩. Tells you the kind of people they attract so they put all these measures. They charge an extra $23 per night after booking on the platform - which I did not use nor was it even available. When arrive, you get the worst customer service as if the staff cannot be bothered. After you check out, your security deposit will be deducted with whatever “they” deem necessary. If people are warning ⚠️ you to book this place. Believe them. Yes, the place is nice, but there are other places that are equal if not better but reasonably priced that you wouldn’t fell like a rip off.
