Lots of things to comment on. The room: We liked the size of the room which was a big plus. The light on the nightstand and guide button on the TV remote didn't work. The sheets on the bed were so tight that it was very hard to adjust them. The light control on the outside versus the inside of the bathroom where they usually always are at 99% of hotels was weird, and the shower control was way too complicated and not guest friendly at all. The bar: Too lit up for a bar atmosphere and with no music at all which was very strange. The buffet breakfast: This was the worst part of our experience. Went there on Saturday morning at around 9:30 AM. There was literally no one there other than us and one other table. The server was ATROCIOUS!! Late to our table, didn't refill our waters and coffee, didn't take our used plates, etc. She was worthy of the tip that I gave her which was $0. Just horrible service and the hotel should be ashamed! The breakfast buffet offerings were poor for the price. Sounds like this hotel has some work to do to improve the guest experience that is for sure. Best part of the visit was man named Aaron at the front desk who seemed to be one of the few capable employees to take care of things appropriately. Spoke with another very rude woman there who couldn't find out wedding party listed when we knew with certainty that it was there and Aaron confirmed it.
Oh my goodness I love this hotel. My sister comes from Chicago and has been coming to this hotel for years and we come and visit and have a good time!! So clean and friendly staff!

We love the Sheraton and the ease of getting around downtown Cuyahoga Falls. We were excited to get one of the rooms with water view and two floors. We had two small children with us (2&5). A couple safety concerns were seen in our room and we did call maintenance. I included photos. The outlet wasn’t fixed and the security lock was as fixed as could be but was still an uneasy feeling having two small kids with a balcony right outside so they ended up sleeping with us. We weren’t offered another comparable room because it was booked up for the night. Oh well, we should’ve been more pushy.
On 10/27/25 I tripped over uneven flooring as I was leaving Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls and injured my back. I submitted an incident report however, no one contacted me to acknowledge my injury. In Dec. Melissa admitted to receiving my incident report two months prior but had not gotten around to contacting me. She disregarded me on 3 occasions. Including claiming to not have received my medical bills and not calling back when she said she would. It has now been eight months since the incident, during which time I underwent medical treatment and approximately eight weeks of physical therapy. I have previously provided billing information regarding my treatment. Since the incident, I have continued to experience ongoing back pain and discomfort that has affected my daily life. At this point, I would appreciate clarification regarding Sheraton’s intentions concerning resolution of this matter. To date, I have not received any formal update, determination, or meaningful communication regarding how the matter will be addressed. This injury has caused significant pain, physical limitations, inconvenience, and disruption to my quality of life. The length of delay (8 months), without resolution or clear communication has become quite concerning. I am respectfully requesting an update regarding: The current status of the matter, whether it has been referred to a liability insurance carrier or claims representative, whether Sheraton intends to discuss settlement or resolution options. I would like to clarify that my issue is with HR and upper management and not with other staff. Aaron Epps and Steve Feeny have always gone above and beyond and have been very helpful when we are visiting. UPDATE as of today 5/20/26, the day that I filed several complaints, reviews and posts...received an email from Melissa in HR that my incident report along with the video will be turned over to their insurance company. She says someone will contact me. YCC
Very disappointing and over priced. I travel quite a bit and this was the grossest room I have ever stayed in. Dirty wash cloth left on the floor in the bathroom which we saw when we checked in, shower did not drain (had to call maintenance to come and snake the drain), pool was closed (kids were upset), elevator overlooking the river was closed, breakfast was overpriced and room was just plain dingy (something that could be easily fixed with a bit of paint).
